So, anyone's kids get screwed up by the time?
Hillbilly Housewife wrote: Mine didn't. They were up at 6:30 anyways. Except it was 5:30 in my mind.
Crystalina replied: My kids were fine with it. I wasn't however. I was up until what I thought was 1am last night (my computer did not change) and when I looked at my cell phone it was really 2am.
OH, and I was also a day behind setting my clocks. It wasn't until last night (when I realized my cell said 2am) that I realized I had forgotten to set the clocks. I was an hour off all weekend. The sad part is I didn't even notice and it didn't disrupt my routine. Very sad. I need to get a life.
jcc64 replied: We all overslept- had to drive my son to school (1/2 hr away- wahhhhhh)
inmom2two replied: Yep, my son is off schedule. He slept in until 6:15
lisar replied: I was all messed up I was 30min late for work this morning. Raygen was sound asleep when I went into her room and she is normally my backup alarm clock. Lexi seemed to be fine though.
CantWait replied: Anthony was up an hour later. I got to lay down for a bit after Robbie went to school. Unfortunetly we did forget to change our clocks Saturday before we went to bed and Anthony missed swimming lessons.
luvbug00 replied: dragging mya our of bed was like dragging a hippo! she was limp and whiney. oh i hate daylight savings time!
moped replied: No he was fine, it is the time change in the fall that we hate!
gr33n3y3z replied: I had a problem If Erin didnt wake me up I would prolly be still sleeping lol and Kaitlin also
mom21kid2dogs replied: Getting up wasn't an issue (although yesterday she got up at 9:40 for 10am Mass and we made it on time ) but going to sleep last night was a nightmare!!! She's a night owl anyway and she talked for a good 45 minutes before falling asleep. It wasn't like the kid shouldn't have been tired. She played outside all day with friends and we walked/golfed 9 holes. I just got back from working at the school and there were lots of sleepy, out of it kids walking around today!
Our Lil' Family replied: Yep, same here. Late nap yesterday afternoon + what he thought was too early for bed = NO FUN!
Boo&BugsMom replied: Actually, it seemed to put him back on schedule. Since the daylight was starting to come up earlier now, before the daylight savings time he was getting up an hour earlier than he normally would have. Now, he's back to his 7/7:30am wake up because it's darker still. He's a light sleeper when it comes to the daylight. He likes it dark when he's sleeping.
3xsthefun replied: No, it hasn't bothered them much at all.
As, for me it will take me another week or so get use to the change.
Calimama replied: Bella did. She woke an hour earlier than she normally does.
holley79 replied: I think Annika's major malfunction was daddy didn't get in till late from New Orleans, dinner was late, bath was late and her gums are swollen.
luvmykids replied: Our biggest issue is that they think it's too early to get jammies on when it's still light out It seems to mess me up way more though because for weeks I look at the clock and think "It says 11 but it's really 10"
A&A'smommy replied: Alyssa slept a little later than usually (about an hour) minus the fact that we actually lost an hour she did sleep longer
coasterqueen replied: I did. I couldn't sleep all night long. The kids, on the other hand, weren't 2 bad. Megan went to sleep actually an hour early (if you take away DST) and Kylie stayed up an hour later (than DST normal). This morning I had to wake Megan, which she wasn't happy, but not a bear about it. Kylie woke up 10 minutes later than normal (w/o DST) so I guess that's almost an hour earlier than normal.
Ok, I'm not making any sense now.....
