So SKEEEEEEERED!!!!!!! - ha ha really, I am scared!

I'm such a chicken!! ughh..I keep having problems with my two front bottom teeth and the dentist has told me that it appears that I've had some type of trauma to them in the past. So..anyhow.I'm sitting here at work wringing my fingers with DREAD!! I've only had one cavity so I'm not really accustomed to going to the dentist for anything more unbareable than just the routine cleaning!
anyhow, I'm needing someone to tell me IT'S NOT THAT BAD...PLEASE!!

coasterqueen replied: It's not bad REALLY. Now if you told me you were getting your wisdom teeth pulled...well...uh.. anyways, root canals really aren't that bad at all. Everyone had me so freaked out about it and it's not bad.

kit_kats_mom replied: Nope, not bad at all. Actually, better than a filling or anything else since they take the nerve out...the dang thing can't hurt any more. I had some swelling from them working in there but really, not too bad. I actually only took one of the pain pills they gave me right afterwards because I was breastfeeding K at the time. It really just helped me sleep a bit better.

Kaitlin'smom replied: its not that bad, I had one but the darn dentist did not finsih it right (never put a permanat filling, just temporary) so that fell out I had no clue and lost part of the tooth, so I had to have a crown.

Alice replied: I've had root canal twice. NO BIG DEAL!! (And this is from someone who is terrified of the dentist!!) The last time, the dentist even called me at home that night, to be sure I was OK because it was so bit/complicated/whatever. But it was nothing a little Tylenol couldn't control.

You have 2 children. NOthing in the world will ever hurt as much as giving birth. Don't worry about the root canal!

Boys r us replied: OMG! It was a BREEZE!! My mouth is a little sore this morning..more like a bruised pain. I watched everything he did..and I have to admit it was a little nerve racking..but I did great!!
