So I'm not the best driver there is.....

It was the scariest thing ever. I had both kids with me, but we are all okay. I'm a little sore though. And all I wanted was a new pair of jeans to wear to dinner that night, it was our anniversary. On the positive side--the car is fixable.

DillsMommy replied: Thanks Guys. It could have been so much worse, I'm just glad we are all okay. The scariest part was when I hit the tree and the air bags went off. The car filled with smoke and it started smoking outside of the car. The first thing I thought was--the car is gonna catch on fire! But fortunately it was just from the air bags. It's amazing what you can do with adrenaline, I had the kids out in seconds.....

Yes, the police showed up. And the owner of the car was obviously not very happy so I didn't talk to her. I kinda felt like I should have atleast said sorry, but Dh told me not to worry about it That's what insurance is for--they say sorry for you. He said. Plus I was so shook up I couldn't even think straight. It's nice to know how many kind people there are though. I had so many people come up and make sure I was okay, offer to get me something to drink, one lady even stuffed $40 in my pocket and said--merry christmas, your gonna need it.
