So How Was Mother's Day?

boyohboyohboy replied: I was so lucky and got a mothers day weekend, instead of just one day....he made me a special homemade card, and then cleaned the house, and made all the meals for the entire three days, bathed the kids, I got a back rub, and he cleaned the van, inside and out, and even took the seats out and cleaned them...

I thought it was the best weekend ever!

mummy2girls replied: mine was ok... I still had to clean and work ( motherly work that is)

Marcus got me some wicked hand lotion kit because my hands have been so dry and chapped from all the flippin dishes i do on a daily basis. Jenna got me a t-shirt with her hand prints on ( she made this at arons sisters house on sat) and a card. At school she made me a jewlery box At church i got some bath salts and a rose and choclate heart. and from marcus's sister a card and a plant:) and marcus's mom got me a card:) We went to chursch on sunday morning, then picked up some flowers and the 3 of us took it to my moms and we spend a bit there. And then we went to marcus's sisters house for a BBQ. that was fun!!!!! all in all a pretty good day!

ZandersMama replied: Mine wasn't too bad. I had friends over last night for supper and to watch the survivor finale. One of Zaviers primary nurses from the NICU sent me a mothers day card The boys father gave me a framed picture of the kids, it is so sweet.

luvbug00 replied: I got nothing. Brad is broke so no gifts "from" mya. Lars and i have no kids so i made him promise no present. We just did what i wanted to do all weekend instead. and then that's it.

By the time we pick everyone up though.... the baby will be ready to come

Let's see we start out in Northern NY then we head to Florida and then to..... Yup I think we will get there about time for that little boy to make his appearance.

boyohboyohboy replied: so when you all load on that bus, make sure you all bring one dish to pass, and some cleaning equipment, so that each person takes a room to keep tidy, that way my next four months can be as good as this weekend!

We did church in the morning and out to a quick lunch, then went flower shopping so I can plant this week, visited both my mom and MIL, then came back to the house and BBQ'd steaks and swam with the kids. After we put them into bed, Bruce and I made pina coladas, sat out on the deck and then watched "Borat"

All in all, a great day!!

HuskerMom replied: Mine was pretty much like a normal day except I got a back rub fom Dh and he surprised me with purple lilies this morning before he left for work since he didn't yesterday.
