Sleeping through night

coasterqueen replied: If he's sleeping, i.e. not demanding milk, then you need to sleep. Your milk supply won't drop except for during those hours and if he's not nursing at that time then you don't need milk then.

Wow, I never thought of it that way. I know it's a supply and demand thing, but I guess I have it drilled in me that it will dry up if you don't get rid of it when you used to, kwim? Thanks

We all do at one time I did too when I was nursing Kylie. Course I never got the opportunity so it was never an issue. I didn't get lucky with either girl.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: YEAH, he did it again last night!! I gave him a good feeding around 10pm when I went to bed and he was out alllllllllll night!! Didn't wake until 8am! Woo hoo! Of course I leaked all over our sheets, but hey, I got some sleep! I'm actually MORE tired than usual...guess my body is trying to catch up! I'll let you all know if it continues...could just be a growth spurt!

PrairieMom replied: Ally has been getting up twice then at 6 or 7 for the day. I think the beach air has been good for her tho, because she has been only getting up once since we got on vacation! WTG Wesley!
