Since I am getting so many - "unnofficial" congratulations...(long)
5littleladies wrote: Obviously I am pregnant. So much for waiting until July. I am feeling very nervous about this one though. Here's the story-AF was due last Tuesday. I took one of the pregnancy tests that I got off of ebay and it came up very, very faintly positive. And it took almost 10 minutes to show up. So the next day I took another one-Same thing. And the next day, and the next. Well by this time I was getting anxious since I thought it should be getting darker as the days went by. I started looking online for info and ran across a lady who said not to buy pregnancy test strips online because they can cause more worry than anything. So I ran out and bought a test at Target and took it right away and lo and behold it came up positive within 30 seconds. So yay, I'm pregnant, but still nervous because I'm thinking that it should be darker than that as far along as I should be. So I waited 2 more days until today and took another of the same brand and it was much darker. I am feeling better now but still a little bit cautious because of this whole fiasco. I'm assuming that maybe because of all the stress I've been under (house, wedding, kids acting up, etc.) that I may have ovulated late. So yippie yay, here we go!
A&A'smommy replied: CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!
YAY I am so happy for you! It seems like everyone is getting pregnant
CantWait replied: CONGRATULATIONS....OFFICIALLY
jem0622 replied: Congrats to you! I wouldn't fret over the tests. I never got a positive at home or in my dr office with the twins. I had to have a blood test!
H&H 9 mos to you!
Edited to add that you should never look at a pregnancy test after the time the instructions indicate because you can get an evaporation line, which could be a false positive. Obviously it wasn't a false positive for you and that is a great thing!
MomToMany replied: CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I wouldn't worry about the tests not being darker. The same thing happened to me. DH didn't believe the first one since it was so light ! So, I did 2 more just to convince him!
H&H 9 months to you, Jennifer!!! And that would be so sweet to have your baby on Valentine's Day !!
amynicole21 replied: CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
I bought some of those preg tests from ebay, too... They are pretty confusing... I think I need the dummy version I guess, you know - the kind that spell out "YOU ARE PREGNANT, STUPID!"
ediep replied: wow!! Congrats!!!!!
H and H 9 months to you!!!!!!
jdkjd replied: Congratulations!! You are going to have to change your user name....
Kaitlin'smom replied: CONGRATS!!!!!!
5littleladies replied: The tests actually said to not look until after 5 minutes. By that time I could see what would be the line. And luckily for me they were the right color-pink, not grey like evaporation lines. But I was really paranoid that they were evaporation lines. Stupid pregnancy tests.
5littleladies replied: And in case everyone is wondering, I am really hoping for a boy this time. I would be totally fine with another girl, but for DH's sake, am hoping for a boy. The other day he looked at our dog and said he wished we had gotten a male instead of a female because he is starting to feel outnumbered. I feel bad for him!
coasterqueen replied: LOL!
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!
alice&arik replied: Congratulations!!

Does DH have any brothers?
5littleladies replied: Nope, just one sister-and his parents divorced when he was young so he was raised by his mother and grandma. Poor guy has always been outnumbered.
MomToMany replied: Oh, the poor man!! I really feel sorry for him!!
I have 5 sisters and 1 brother, but I don't feel sorry for him having 6 sisters !!
DansMom replied: Congratulations!!! This board is full of excitement these days!
jem0622 replied: My brother is the only boy and has resigned himself to the fact that he might never have a son...but hey...we'll see!
We always want them healthy, no matter what. And if I recall this is not your last hurrah based on your family goals? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you anywho! Send me some pink vibes! LOL
5littleladies replied: You are absolutely correct. Our plan is to have one more but I'm not sure if I can stop! I just love having kids.
Oh and I should add-Dh's dad is one of like 6 boys in his family so I don't know where all my girls are coming from! God sends us what He thinks we should have I guess.
