Shower today :)

Anyway, my church shower starts today too. I will have a table set up in the foyer...it stays up for 4 weeks, and they announce it at every service. I'm pretty excited...in the past, when I had a shower, all I got was wet

I did not allow many pics of myself (I was NOT feeling great with my leg in a cast and swollen like a puffer fish) but now I truly wish I had! Taylor loves seeing herself 'in mommy's tummy' I wish I had more of the showers to show her how I looked right before she was born

pacifiers
playtex dropins and bottles
milk storage bags
diapers and wipes (we have over 400 diapers right now )
celebrate plate (really pretty plate with a rattle in the middle. It comes with a special pen, and people can sign it as they come see you...either at home or the hospital)

One of my friends made a really cool thing with 3 of my ultrasound pictures. Maybe I will take a picture of it and post it tomorrow OH! Somebody also got me some wonderful fleece pajamas
It was really great, and I finally got over the being the center of attention thing  In fact, I wouldn't mind doing it more (getting presents, that is)...
EDIT: I forgot to add that a couple of his aunts gave us money. The church is going to get the travel system. My SIL (church secretary) found one at BRU that is chocolate and blue...they will have 10 hostesses who give $15 each, so she will use it to buy that. The church also will give me a $50 gift certificate to wherever I want. my mother is getting the bassinet, and another relative is getting the crib. So we don't have that many things to get, and I don't feel as under-prepared now. AND the shower won't end for a while

Danalana replied: I know! Not much time at all! I go to the doctor tomorrow, and I am hoping I have dilated a little...even a pinky-width! Or even just thinned some...
