Seriously? like, seriously seriously?
PrairieMom wrote: So, I'm getting off work this morning, and its a mad dash in the parking ramp, we all leave at the same time, so the place was really dumping out. the ramp we have is just a simple spiral kind, one way all the way around, so, if one person stops, everyone else has to stop too. There is no way to pass or anything.
So, I come up on this car, it is just sitting there, I can't see why, but they are waiting so I am waiting. well, now I'm waiting for a few minutes, and someone comes up behind me. So I honk. Now there are 4 cars in line waiting. and waiting, and waiting. There is a bit more honking from behind me. I'm counting these cars lining up, and there are at least 9 cars behind me, and I'm the 3rd in line behind this person who is waiting. Its now been 7 minutes. I was watching the clock because I was rushing home to get Ben to school.
So, finally, I start thinking, surely, this person cannot be this dumb, ther has GOT to be a good reason why she is sitting there. I wonder if she is okay. So, I get out of my car. Its now been 8 minutes that we have all been sitting there, waiting, and I can't even see the end of the line anymore. I run down to her car and tap on the window. She looks at me like, So I ask, Are you Okay?! yeah, I'm just waiting for that car there to pull out. someone had remote started their car from inside the hospital, and this lady was waiting for more than 8 minutes) to park in that spot. All the while holding up I don't know how many people. Here is the dumb part. and yeah, there is a dumb part... the parking ramp was more than 1/2 empty. Seriously, there were TONS of spots, I don't know if she was emotionally attached to that particular one or what, It was all I could do to keep from being sooo rude to her. I just said, "uh huh.. well, you are holding up this entire line of people... maybe if you could just go around..."
OMG, and she shot me a look like I was being totally rude.
I may win the most annoying stranger award for the day.
momofone replied: That was rude of her - I would have been aggravated too.
A&A'smommy replied: nah I think she wins that award!!!!! Seriously I don't there are enough brains to go around the world
DillsMommy replied: I think she was being way more annoying than you. How rude!
lisar replied: I would have done the same thing in asking her to move.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Wow. Just wow.
PrairieMom replied: I think maybe she just wasn't thinking. ya know? there is no way she didn't realize we were all back there, I think it just didn't occur to her how inconsiderate she was being. She was probably annoyed at the person she was waiting for to pull out, but I don't think she realized there was no one in the car.
TheOaf66 replied: well that is nicer than I would have been
Kaitlin'smom replied: OMG she littlerly just sat there with all the honking? okay she needs a few more fries in her happy meal.
PrairieMom replied: yeah. She was just sitting there. That's why I was actually getting worried. Surely someone just sitting there would have a good reason, like she was passed out or something. I was full on ready to call for the emergency team. I'm still amazed by it.

Calimama replied: Wow. We'll just hope she was having an off day and this isn't her usual show of her IQ level.
My2Beauties replied: Well she deserves the big fat DUH for the day award honestly. I would only wait for a spot for a minute or two tops and if all of those people were all lining up behind me, honestly I'd just find an empty spot so everyone could get out. How rude of her!
MoonMama replied: What the....what?!? I don't even know what to say to that!
moped replied: So did you get Ben to school on time?
BRUTAL......I read it and wondered where this was going, tha tis NOT what I thought you would say.......
Cece00 replied: how did you even wait 8 minutes?? i'm so impatient I wouldve honked 2 or 3 times and then gotten out of my car in about 2 minutes tops
How weird and RUDE. EIGHT minutes while she can obviously see cars are lining up...who does that??
PrairieMom replied: well, I am extremely non-confrontational by nature, and it was after a night shift, so really, I was sitting there just thinking... and spacing out... and listening to the radio... then I realized I had been waiting so long! I kept waiting for someone else to get out first, and no one else did. I thought the lady in front of me would, she was there even longer, but she never did. I ended up listening to a whole song and the local news before I put two and two together and realized we would all be sitting there until lunch time if no one did anything
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Yeah that would make me mad!!! Sorry your day started that way!
CantWait replied: It would have taken everything in me not to kick her through her car door.
MommyToAshley replied: Not only is that rude of her, but it's really bizarre. I'm sure everyone is glad you finally got out or who knows how long you would have been there.
