Second Update on Spencer

The doctors apologized saying that it is very rare that they do not get all the material they need on the first try (that was Thurs. am). They schedule a second biopsy for this morning, and he finally went in at 11:20am. Unfortunately the second test was also inconclusive as they were not able to get any marrow (only blood and fluid). They are worried about this, in and of itself, but will not make a diagnosis until they have a conclusive test. Poor Spencer is scheduled for another biopsy on Tuesday next week, at which time they will also take spinal fluid and a piece of the spine for analysis. Hopefully we will know by Tuesday night what the diagnosis is, and what the treatment will consist of.
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I will let you know any updates as I get them.
