Schnoogly replied: Yes I'm here!!! Been doing a lot of stuff around the house. Planted a veggie garden in the front, spring cleaning, LOTS of laundry. Iain is eating so well now, he eats about 6 small meals a day, but makes a huge freaking mess each time, so I am doing tons of laundry LOL!

Iain is doing so much better, getting really independent. We instituted a new sleep plan--no nursing to sleep w/me anymore, and I really think it is helping. He falls asleep in his bed with me or DH, usually takes 30-60 minutes, but then he will sleep 2-3 hours on his own at the beginning of the night!!! And only wake up 2-3 times after that, sometimes only once! I finally feel like i am getting a decent amount of sleep. He is napping in his bed for short periods so I have time to do stuff. It has been really great. He is finally walking pretty well, this week he figured out how to go from crawling to standing to walking without hanging onto anything, and is really taking off. And he has tons of new words. He likes to play in the garden with me, and it's been really hot here (90+ degrees) and we've been playing with the sprinklers.

I just haven't been on the computer as much!

DansMom replied: Thanks for the update---it's great to hear how well Iain is doing these days. It sounds like he's blossoming and thriving! The better eating really helped the sleeping for us too, in terms of blocks of time he would sleep.
