Calimama replied: All I will say is that I hope peace comes from these circumstances.

CantWait replied: WHAT A SHAME!!!!! sad.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

amynicole21 replied: They didn't waste any time on that one, did they?! blink.gif Good Riddance.

mom2my2cuties replied: The reason his execution was done so quickly was that they needed it held before the holiday over there.

Also the reason for the pictures and video, is for the Iraqi's because many of them are fearful that Saddam will come back to power...Likely it wont be fully aired on US television. I know FoxNews has aired the photo of him dead as well as a very small clip of the execution video. Just small parts, you see the "prep" stuff, and then pictures of him wrapped in the shroud.

luvmykids replied: A little tiny bit of justice for the people he terrorized.

luvmykids replied:
I just saw the news...they don't show anything graphic.

sparkys2boys replied: When I first heard this the first thing that came to my mind was.. is it really him?? The poor people held under him may finally be able to live a life somewhat more normal, but many will still be to scared to move on I think.

blue72 replied: He certainly got what he deserved but I hope his execution doesn't cause even more violence in that region. The Iraqi citizens have suffered enough.

BAC'sMom replied: It could not have happen to a better person clapsmiley.gif

This is what I am afraid of. sad.gif

MotherForever2043 replied: So long, Saddam wavey.gif

jcc64 replied: I'm not at all sorry to see him dead- but I don't expect his death to have much of a prolonged impact on the situation over there. Too much suffering, too much death and misery for all involved in Iraq, particularly for the civilians caught in the crossfire, and no end in sight. Whenver I see footage of the suffering brought upon these people by the consequences of the war, as an American, I am wracked with guilt. So unbearably sad, imo. bawling.gif
