She is beautiful...  I don't care for her daddy, but I have to admit they had good genetics going into her.

FWIW - it's not actually "silent" birth... more like staying quiet. It's very similar to hypnobirthing actually... it's about not making a big loud bright lights and screaming birth...but more of a quiet relaxed quiet music and soft light birth...as to make the transition from a nice comfy womb to the world as easy as possible on the baby, rather than being yanked out of a warm quiet place into a hospital room full of happily talking and laughing people and bright lights... makes lots of sense to me, really...and to be quite frank, very similar to my non-scientologist birth plan

What I noticed is the weird smile Katie has on her face. It's not a smile of "I"m happy and thrilled". It's more of a "I'm not happy or thrilled". Doesn't it seem that way?

C&K*s Mommie replied: I think it is symbolizing the mystery surrounding her, that they kept her in seclusion for this past month or so, causing some nosey people to wonder if she even existed. I think Suri being tucked away like that is a symbol that she was in seclusion (from the paparazzi) but now she is coming out. I hope that makes any sense.

She is 4 months I believe...She was born in May I believe.
C&K*s Mommie replied:  Goes to show how much I pay attention to the useless information on their child. So she was in seclusion for the last four months, not one month. I guess that is what gave some naysayers their fuel, when it was speculated that Katie Holmes was really pregnant or not and actually gave birth.

I was thinking the same thing. I had the worst heartburn ever and Annika ha da lot of hair but not like that. 
It takes a minute to truly absorb her though. I love the dark hair/ light eyes combo though.

Keep in mind, they were probably surrounded by 50 people, snapping pictures, under hot lights, and people adjusting them constantly for the "perfect" shot.
She was probably a little stressed by it all, especially with having a baby in tow. I know I would have been.

Our Lil' Family replied: Did anyone else hear something about her being older than they are letting on? I heard on the radio this morning about some speculation that she is not actually Tom Cruise's daughter but Kris Kline and that she is older than what they say she is.....I don't have an opinion on it, probably just radio trying to stir things up. Did anyone else hear anything like that?

She is really cute. It was just ridiculous how big of a deal they were making out of it that they didn't give a picture, it's not so impressive anymore, but she's cute.
