SO I bought Jack Jeans - from Childrens Place
moped wrote: They were 2 for $30 so i grabbed 2 pair 4T and was quite happy - get them home and they JUST fit without the waist being adjusted at all..........so I now wonder if he needs a 5T - OMG.
Calimama replied: I'm glad you found some that work for him!
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: How's the length Jen? I would only get the 5T if you think he will grow up in the next six months. Wil just keeps getting taller and taller, but his butt and waist stay the same...small.
moped replied: Length right now is perfect - i even wonder about them shrinking after the first wash
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Hmmmm, I would maybe go get a 5T to compare. It's true, they may shrink. Good price though!
moped replied: Yeah and they are super cute!!!!! I got the dark wash and the carpenter - and he put them on for me and said "yeah they are sweet mom".....UGH do you think he talks like me at all??????
I may have to take them back or at least one pair back for a 5 - this kid JUST turned 3
My3LilMonkeys replied: Brooke is 3 and in a size 5T for length already - some of the 4t still work, but others are way short. I am starting to love adjustable waists!
Jamison'smama replied: Wow, he is tall! My poor short legged guy still wears an 18 month length--
How are the jeans with bigger winter shoes---if they are at all short, I would get the 5T for shrinkage.
moped replied: I do think I have to get the 5!!!! I looked at the 4 and thought they would be plenty big enough!
A&A'smommy replied: They really shouldn't shrink, I buy alyssa clothes from there all the time and never had any problems with them shrinking... BUT then again you may want to go ahead and get the 5T so he can wear them longer. The great thing about there jeans is they adjustable waist!!!
luvmykids replied: Kylie's jeans from CP did shrink in the length....I doubt I would have noticed it at all because it really was minimal but they were perfect to begin with. She's very long legged and her jeans always look great until the first wash and then they're ever so slightly too short. I have to buy her a 6 and put the adjustable waist on the last button, or buy the 5T and not dry them.
Boys r us replied: Hey Jen...I can send you Braedon's 5T stuff that is too big for him and you can send me Jack's 3T stuff that's too small for him..HAAAAA
Seriously Brae can wear all his 3T clothes and he's 5yrs old...
Good deal on the jeans! Gotta love those adjustable waists too!
MyBabeMaddie replied: Go for the 5T whats wrong with a little room to grow? Why not keep the ones you have and get the 5T you got an awesome deal... I love Children's place!
