SO CUTE! I have to share!!!
MommyToAshley wrote: Ashley came home Friday from preschool with some Mother's Day gifts that she had made. One of them was a cookbook that all the kids contributed to. On the front is Ashley's picture and then on the inside is recipes from all the kids. All the kids in her class told how to make a food item, and drew a picture of it, and then the teachers put it together in a book.
Ashley's recipe was how to make French Fries French Fries: First you grow a potato, then fry it in a pan. Then put yellow stuff on the outside of the fries. Then eat it.
Here's a few more from some of the other kids: Chick nuggets You put them in the oven for 3 hours and turn it on low. Then, they are done and you eat it with ranch.
Strawberries Get some from the store and then you pay. You go home and eat them.
Spaghetti Need some Noodles and hamburger to make the sauce. Put it in a bowl and then put it on the stove. Call my Mom and ask her how to make spaghetti
Cake I put strawberries and chocolate milk in it. You put it in the oven on 10 degrees.
Popsicles Make a stick and then color it. Then put sprinkles on it, then fudge, then chocolate. Then put it in the freezer.
Lots of kids did mac 'n cheese... I never knew there were so many ways to make it. LOL
Here's a scan of the front cover. (The scan didn't turn out well, it's cuter in person)

What an excellent idea!!
amymom replied: That is so cute!!! My son did one years ago. I should find it just to 'haunt' him. I think his was mac n cheese. Something like... Get a box open it and it is done!

MommyToAshley replied: I'm not quite sure, but I think it is because the potatoes are white (after you peel them) and french fries are yellow... so we must put yellow stuff on them, right?

Good thing Ashley doesn't know the origin of the chicken nuggets she eats... I don't think I'd want to read that recipe. LOL (She still thinks there are two kinds of chicken, the kind you eat and the animal that goes cluck cluck.)
