SNOW!!

I thought it was going be in the 50 and 60's all winter.

Yeah, I know I sound shocked but in a way I am. I didn't think we was actually going to get snow today. They have been calling for snow for couple weeks but never really got anything. I wonder how much we will get?

Hmm.. I wonder if they will let schools out early today? I guess they will if it gets bad enough. I think they already closed schools in one county north of us. Guess just have to wait and see.

I'm sure I sound like a crazy lady. But this weather has been so crazy so far this winter. Again.. it don't suprise me since we usually don't get a big snow storm until around March.

I might take pictures later if we get enough that sticks to the ground. So far it is barely on the ground.

I keep telling the kids "when I was young" we had snow up to our hips...its making me sound old...like grandma...

coasterqueen replied: I felt the same way on my way in to work this morning and saw the flurrying. It was great to see it. Course I think it's supposed to be 38 here today so it won't stay long.

I remember back when I was still in the 6th grade, I had stayed over night at my friends house. Next morning we woke up and we was snowed in. I ended up staying at her house for 2 or 3 days, until my mom and dad finally came and got me. Sometimes I wish it would snow like that again. I know I'm crazy.

I don't think it will stay here for very long. The temps are suppose to get back up into the upper 50s again before the week is over. I guess we will enjoy it long as we can.

sparkys2boys replied: hmm.. snow.. what is that??? Gosh I live in PEI Canada and we always have snow. This year.. none.. the ground is green. We have had a dusting but it melts as soon as we get it. I WANT snow too!!

We are only going to get about 1-3" I just found that out little while ago.

I don't even think we have but 1/2" right now it is barely on the ground now.

JadensMama05 replied: Wow.. must be something in the air! We got snow once so far this winter and it was a lot, 10+ inches. It stayed for about 3 days... Our ozone must be totally screwed up cuz as a kid, we ALWAYS had snow in January!!

redplaydoh replied: It's in the 50's here and we haven't seen a flake yet... and this is SWITZERLAND!! Even in the alp regions where there should be a LOT of snow, they only have a small amount. Many ski areas are still closed because there isn't enough snow.

I'm not complaining... I hate the stuff.

I know, eh? I'm in Ottawa... it dropped flurries ALL DAY today, but somehow, the ground outside is still pretty much GREEN cuz it MELTED...

Our kids got another three days added to their break after the last storm....we're getting another one this weekend. BLECH. I'm glad someone is happy to see snow, I hope you guys really enjoy it!
