TANNER'S MOM wrote: We went to the Mall last night. Tanner is not sure that Santa is real anymore but he wanted to see him just in case you know..lol
Well I thought this might be the last time, so I would get his pic made. Well the smallest pic they had was a 4 x 5..ok and it was 12.99.. 13.77 W/ TAX
Does anyone else think this way too high.
This is how cheap I am..I went and bought a throw camera for 4.99..and then it will be 4.00 to have it devolped and but i will have 24 pics.
Am I crazy??
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Nope, you aren't crazy! That is very smart of you! I always take my own camera. I take better pictures than they do anyway.
Kaitlin'smom replied: your no cheep or crazy, they way over charge for thoes, espically with some of the waiting you do. I dunno if I will take her to the mall to take some but she will see santa at a base christmas party and I will take some there
MomToMany replied: Wow! That's a LOT! I would take my own camera, but some places even frown on that so they can make more money .
FroggyJK replied: No you are NOT crazy! That is really expensive!!!
AshleyRose replied: YIKES that is way too expensive, I agree!!
A&A'smommy replied: LOL thats pretty good!! Last year we got Alyssa's picture with santa (it was too cute) and we got three pictures (grandparents package) it was like 15dollars I think....
My2Beauties replied: The prices are like that at the mall here too, it is highway robbery! I don't think we're allowed to take our own pics, not for certain though! That is a good idea on your part!
aspenblue1 replied: I think it is entirely too expensive. I paid 30.00 for Isabella and it was 2 5'7 and 2 3'5. they wont let you take pictures.
Mommy2Be replied: No way your not cheap or crazy (your own camera great idea) I agree fully. I remember taking my God son Brice to get his picture taken with Santa his first Christmas because we were already at the mall. I remember it cost almost $15 for ONE 5 x 7 that was pretty bad quality so we could forget about scanning it to send to everyone. My dad works at a local Sam's Club here and he dresses up as Santa every year and they take picture for $2 and even then they give the money the Children's Miracle Network. My dad absolutely loves doing this and I always get great pictures of Gracie (well, until last year when Gracie figured it all out and shouts POP-POP!!!! at the top of her lungs LOL ). Plus the money goes to a great cause. So I agree bring your own camera it is definitely highway robbery.
Boys r us replied: I don't think you're crazy at all! I noticed how expensive they had gotten the other day when I took braedon to see Santa..luckily I didn't have to worry about it b/c Braedon wouldn't sit on his lap! All he would do was smile and point at him and say "I want a Tractor Santa!"
ctymom replied: Not crazy at all! I think it's nuts how much they charge! Only my oldest would go near him anyway. I brought Erica to the mall and let her see him and they waved to each other. So that's a start. I'll bring a throw away camera too! Why not...I'm not paying $12-15 for a polaroid!
