New Mommy replied: For me I was 2 cm for a while and it gradually went up until I finally had contractions and bang 6 hours later I had my little boy. Be patient he/she will come soon. Are you effaced at all? What is your station at? Those also have to do with when you will drop. I had no problems effacing and the doctors said that is why I went so quickly.
