ROFL at Macie

luvmykids wrote: She is so sick of all this mess with her teeth, especially the penicillen, but since they closed another tooth yesterday she has another 10 days of it. She's been fighting me like crazy and for some reason today, decided to get over it laugh.gif When I commented that she took her medicine like a big girl, she said "Thank you, thank you, please hold your appluase" emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif

That was about an hour ago, I'm still LOL everytime I look at her rolling_smile.gif

sparkys2boys replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif You should clap at her next time she takes it!! That's to cute! BTW how is she doing? Is she sore?

luvmykids replied: I really don't know, she refuses to eat on either side because she says it hurts. I don't know if it truly does or if she's just afraid it will hurt because it did before we got her fixed up, kwim? I've been giving her Tylenol just in case.

sparkys2boys replied:
She may just be scared of it hurting I agree. If she still won't in a few more days then I would worry a little more. IS she done of it all now? Cameron has to go on Mon to have work done to bawling.gif they are going to give him gas because he has a very bad gag reflex and gets very upset. I am NOT looking forward to it at all.

luvmykids replied:
She's all done for now...and yesterday was a lot of work, two fillings, root canal and crown, so I shouldn't be suprised if it does still hurt some.

Poor Cam, it's so hard for these little ones. Good luck to both of you hug.gif hug.gif

sparkys2boys replied:
Oh Cam is having a root canal sorta..thats what they told me. He has a very soft back tooth that has a huge cavity in it. Did they give Macie gas or anything?

luvmykids replied:
The first tooth they did anything to (the one a few weeks back) was dead, so they just did a little numbing gel on the gums around it just in case.

Yesterday they used the gel to numb her up pretty good for a shot of novacaine. She didn't feel the shot at all (or so they tell me, parents aren't allowed in the room) but it really bugged her that her mouth was numb....she kept biting her lip and the inside of her cheek trying to feel something so I think if we have to go back I'll ask for gas instead.

sparkys2boys replied:
Ya I have heard its the way to go to. I am just scared that it wont work kwim and they will start working on him and he will be in pain. I think they discourage parents in the room here to but I may demand blush.gif to go until I know he is ok and not feeling anything.

luvmykids replied:
If it helps any, I was really concerned about not being with her but now I know that it would have been a very dramatic and much drawn out process if I had been. She jumped out of the chair into my lap just when they suctioned her mouth, who knows what would have happened if I was there when they drilled wacko.gif I honestly don't think we ever would have finished, because she would have given me those eyes that said "Take me home!".

It helps that I totally love and trust the dentist, but honestly, if they recommend you waiting outside I think it makes a big difference. hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif

sparkys2boys replied:
Are you trying to convince me or you Mon?? tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif Joking, ya if they insist on me not being there I will do what they ask.. I may not be happy about it but I will!

MoonMama replied: emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif

That is too cute and funny. love2.gif Poor sweetie, but glad they are getting things fixed.

Calimama replied: She's so funny. emlaugh.gif
