moped replied: Well I am already pg, but we started trying in October and I concieved in March. This will be our last child and Tom will be getting the big V after this one is born!

lol no dh and I decided on next summer (right before he gets tenor SP?) but I'm dead set on starting ASAP I have baby fever so bad I can't stand it and I honestly can't understand why we are still waiting there is NO logical reasoning behind it except for him getting tenor and he is already pretty much set as far as that goes

moped replied: Well if you are a SAHM then it doesn't affect his job a bunch does it? I mean yes it changes everything but what difference is 1 year going to make - and you cuold tell him that it could take longer to concieve so you better start trying. I thought I would be pg on the first go and it took 8 months

What is his job that he will get tenure?

He is the network administrator for our city school system GREAT job and GREAT pay and best of all he loves it!!

I really don't know our actual conversation on how we came around to the idea that we BOTH are ready to have another baby, he was begging me for an xbox and I told him no that we had to save money (cause he is always telling me we should save money which I agree we should) cause I wanted another baby and then he told me that if he could get an xbox we could start trying to have another baby... well that is just how he brought the idea up (and tricked me into letting him get the dang thing ) he had been thinking about it for a while and the whole tenure thing.. there is a lot more too it but basically I think he is just nervous about the whole idea.

Your SOO right though I think i'm going to tell/remind him that it could take up to a year for me to get pregnant so we should start now!!!

moped replied: When I mentioned it first , Tom said NO WAY because you know exactly when to get pg and I am just not quite ready - well it took much longer than I thought!

I wonder why it is so much easier the first time?

I don't know. I tried to convince him at lunch today to start trying when we got his truck paid off (I was so going to like double up on his payments ) but he said "he's not ready yet" actually he said something along the lines of "I'm kind of enjoying not being totally poor right now"

How many babies are you going to have before being done? We're thinking 2ish. He's from a family of 6, and said they struggled a lot. He said he doesn't want a huge family b/c he knew how hard it was, and doesn't want his kids to ever "want" for anything.

And who is going to be the one to get fixed? Or who got "fixed"? prob him...we'll just have to see I guess!!

Good luck on convincing him, just buy him something nice!

We say we're not - but I'd love to have more. I'm not going to try alone though. I'd love having twins. But I may chage my mind after having these triplets for a while... lol

I'd say yes - but I want more. We're probably not going to have more though.

I have three already. Everyone in my family tells me it's MORE THAN ENOUGH!!! But I figure I'm just doing my part to help the decline in birth rate in Canada.

We talked about dh getting fixed. Of course, he's been "going to get fixed" for 2 years.

Oh and Jessy~ you should tell Jeremiah that it could take you a long time to concieve.... it seemed to take a whole lot longer than I would have liked it to with this pregnancy.
