Question - Pics in siggy
My2Beauties wrote: OK how in the world do you guys get those photos in your siggys? I have a website for Hanna that has 2 pics on it but they're not all neat like that, like touching with a background and what not? I have no clue how to create a web page? Plus the Edit Signature tab doesn't let you just post one! I know this is probably a dumb question!
kimberley replied: i made mine in Paint. just put a few pics side by side then posted it on my webspace and put the link on here. i am sure others will be of more help lol. i am still learning too.
My2Beauties replied: I did the paint thing....and I made a really cute collage and posted it to my web page...now problem! How do I upload it from her webpage to my siggy? I tried everything, the IMG button won't let me put that URL in, it says it's not appropriate! I'm sort of computer illiterate!
Here is the collage I want to add to my siggy! Someone please help, It's so cute
My2Beauties replied: OK I don't want it that big, I will have to work on it! But how do I do it?
My2Beauties replied: I tried to post the URL of her website and they want my password nomatter who you are! Ok this sucks, how do I crate my own web page instead of going through babiesonline.com!
Mom2Boyz replied: You'll have to resize it. I use a program called irfanview. It's really easy to use, and it's free to download. IrFanview HTH
You can also store your photos at photobucket.com and use the url from there. It is free also, and I have never run out of bandwith for my pics.
My2Beauties replied: OK now I downloaded that...now I have it resized, but how do I get it in my siggy? By the way I love your siggy, Connor's mom, I could never come up with anything like that.
kimberley replied: is it showing on your webpage in the smaller format? make sure it is updated and try inserting the link again into your siggy. sorry, i am a rookie too. i know a lot of people use photobucket.com for their siggy. you may wanna go that way.
My2Beauties replied: I did the photobucket.com thing and when I try to paste the URL in my siggy it is giving me an error message. Do I use the http:// tag or the IMG tag? I've tried both???
Mom2Boyz replied: use the img tag
My2Beauties replied: I did it, it changed all of my previous siggy's whoo hoo! I will have to come up with a more creative one but that's a start! Whoo hoo!
Thanks f all of you guys' help!!! Gosh I feel like a dork I'm all excited over nothing!
kimberley replied: looks great! good job!
