Prayers needed
holley79 wrote: Hey Everyone,
Well I didn't buy the car yesterday. I was at the dealership, test drove and was fixing to start the paperwork when my nice MIL called. Her sister, who I have called Aunt Lucille since DH and I started dating, had a stroke yesterday. I ended up dropping everything, picked up my MIL and headed to Mobile, AL to the hospital where she was at. My MIL was in no shape to drive.
She is in ICU right now. They are waiting to see if there is any permenant damage done. We are all hoping and praying that there isn't. So please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that there isn't anything permenant and that she has a speedy recovery. This poor lady has been through a lot in the last couple of years healthy wise. She is such a fighter though and have faith this will be no different.
So I will try for the new car after Annika is born since next week will be too hectic.
I hope everyone has a very Merry and Blessed Christmas.

holley79 replied: Thank you for the much needed prayers. The doctors don't think my Aunt has any permanent damage. Only time will tell there though. They have her pretty drugged up. The kids and her husband are fighting like mad dogs and I know that can't be helping. The nurse finally kicked everyone out of her room. Thank goodness. They think just because she is all doped up she can't hear them bickering, which I set that straight. I remember everything everyone said while I was on morphine after my car accident. Not to mention you feel when there is tension in the room. We all feel that she is going to be ok.
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful Holiday.
