Prayers for Mel's DH - surgery today

TANNER'S MOM replied: Thank you guys! He is well...really drugged up but well. It was a turmor on his hand but they got it. The doctor said he tried really hard to get it all. He said it didn't "look"cancerous" but we would know for sure in a week.

I just got up from a nap with him. This last couple of days has worn me out!

I could never be a nurse! He asked the same questions over and over. He said do I have to eat the crackers? No honey you don't! Do I have to eat the crackers? Honey if you want the crackers then eat them. Do I have to eat the cracker.. EAT THE DAM CRACKERS POLLY!

He is scared of needles! The IV nurse came in..and I said honey it won't be bad, it's just a little needle. She no I won't lie to you, in surgery we use large needles. I look at it and my eyes got big.. he said what. I well it looks like a horse needle..lol She gave him is IV..he got pale but didn't pass out this time. The nurse we use 18 gauge..he said that is what I use on my horses!

But he is resting on some 750mg pain pills. The doctor who weighed a buck five said you look like a big man.. I give you extra strength! So no more cracket talk!
