Power Of Suggestion

I must be getting my appetite back b/c I have been cooking more and everything is tasting so good. The chicken and dumplings are especially good for my cold.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I love chicken and dumplings. I used to get them all the time at Cracker Barrel. We don't have any of those here in Hawaii. I ate there twice when I was home in May.
TLCDad replied: heeeheee, I wonder who mentioned them!
I am glad they are helping your cold! Now, I am craving them again and Ashley just LOVES them too!
My2Carebears replied: Mmmmm that sounds so good. If anyone has the recipe I would love it!! Homemade Is the best!!!

Well, here is my recipe.......
2-3 Boneless, Skinless chicken breasts (or bone-in...you just have to de-bone) Add one can chicken broth and water to cover...boil Cool and cut into small pieces Save the chicken broth and water that you cooked chicken in and add one can of Cream of Chicken soup and one packet of Chicken flavored ramen noodle seasoning. Add one small can of bisquits by pinching in small pieces and to make a thicker soup you can roll the pieces of bisquit in flour before adding them to the soup. Let simmer for 10-12 mins. Bisquits will get fluffy and float.
.............OR (for a faster recipe).................
One can chicken broth One can Cream of chicken One can chicken breast (swanson, sweet sue, etc) 3 cups of water One packet chicken flavored ramen noodle seasoning BOIL... Add bisquits in pinches rolled in flour Let simmer 10-12 mins. (this version tastes just as good to me and cuts time)
Very easy and yummy. Hope you enjoy it.
