Poll: Where did you and your DH/SO go on 1st date?

Jamison'smama replied: Spaghetti Warehouse, then the West End Marketplace in Dallas --followed by a look around the Christmas decorated ballrooms in the Anatole Hotel.

Heather replied: We just hung out with each other. He came home on weekend leave (he was stationed in NC). So we just hung out and talked...stayed out until 5 am . I told my Dad that we were midnight bowling Wasn't much of a first date but we really talked a lot. I guess it makes up for being apart all those times that we were!

Me and DH went to see "Bed Of Roses" and then to eat at the Olive Garden. We drove around for a little while afterwards and talked. That is when we knew we were meant to be together.

Jamison'smama replied: Went to school in Denton--me--Texas Woman's Univ, DH Univ of North Texas so we used to go to Dallas for a nice evening out. We have family in Plano so we still head to Dallas a couple of times a year.

juliajaj replied: DH & I went out to dinner at Chili's & then had coffee at Caribou Coffee. I'm not big into bars, so as soon as he asked if I'd like to go to a coffee house after dinner, I knew he was the one for me.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: We never really had a first date. I was actually still *dating* my ex (if you can call it that) - we hung out one evening, like we did sometimes since we were good friends, and for some reason ended up in the shower together?!

Jamison'smama replied: oh my goodness--that is hilarious.

kit_kats_mom replied: We went to a lake to watch a meteor shower. Very romantic...except that we got "busted" by the sherrifs office...apparently the park was closed after dusk and we weren't supposed to have alcohol. Dh had brought a bottle of wine and some cheese & bread. LOL He knew the sherrif though so we chatted with him for a bit and drove to another spot to watch the shower.

mckayleesmom replied: Me and dh slept together our first night....but not like your thinking...we just slept. He was in Recruiting school in South Carolina. I went up to meet him and stay for 2 weeks. I spent the night in his room, there was another guy there too, then we went to his moms house for a couple days, then we stayed in a hotel by the school he was attending. We never really had a first date, but one time when he came down to see me and stay at my house right before we left to move up here,,he took me to this fancy hotel that is shaped like a castle. On the first night I told him I was going to take a bath...he told me to hold on cause he had to go to the bathroom. He was taking forever so I thought he was going number 2. Well when he came out he told me to come in the bathroom. He had filled the bathtub with Rose petals and floating candles. He had bath salts and a Loofa...and candles everywhere. He even bought this candle that I wanted from Red Envelope that had a lilly floating in an oil lamp. Then he Bathed me and washed my hair and everything. Then he gave me an oil massage......and Ill stop there....but it was so romantic. What happen to them days...now Im full of baby pike and poopie diapers...but loving every minute of that too...but it would be nice to get some flowers. He use to buy me flowers all the time and send them to me. He still tries to be romantic, but somehow the candles in our room along with the dirty laundry that is backed up cause the machine broke,,doesn't seem so romantic anymore...lol

mummy2girls replied: we saw shallw hal..LOL. then our second date was actually my birthdayLOL so he took me too a very fancy expensive restaurant...

jcc64 replied: We were 16 (now we're 38!), and we had a friend who had his driver's license already take us to a closed state park that overlooks the NYC skyline. It was cold, icy, and the minute I stepped out of the car, I wiped out on my behind! He was so sweet and solititous, he didn't even laugh. I was mortified, but it was a good ice breaker, no pun intended.

jen replied: My DH and I went horseback riding. I planned on him riding my horse Tank who bucked me off when I was warming him up (showing off)! it was SOOOOOOOOOO EMBARRASSING! We went on a trail ride but I had to ride Tank b/c he would not get on him!!! Then we went and drove around looking at christmas lights with hot chocolate and cookies! AWWWWWWWW! We had about 3 or 4 kids with us all piled in his truck that I gave riding lessons to! When I realized he could handle a bunch of kids singing and screeching "Jenny and Josh sitting in a Tree.............." I realized he was the one for me! ha ha!

A&A'smommy replied: Dh and i went to a town that is an hour away because that is where all the good resturants (i cant spell) are we talked the WHOLE way there when we got there we went to applebees in the mall. We sat sorta close to this gold arcade game well i was reading all the stuff on it (we had been talking but at the moment we werent) and this one popped up and said "stroke play" i almost died i was laughing so hard (i was 16 and not paying attention to where i was at) Jeremiah looked at me funny and it took him like ten minutes to get it out of me finally i just showed him i was so embarressed! After we got through eating we rode around ttown talking and then we went to krispy kreme. There was this guy in front of me and he was ordering and he said mountain dew really really country and when jeremiah asked me what i wanted to drink i said it like the guy in front of us and lol died out lauging again (i was also kinda mean ) but dh thought i was funny too...we also had LOTS of chemistry so i stayed real close (he was shy) and i kept slightly touching his arm. Finally we were sitting down and watching the doughnuts be made and talking well he started playing with straw paper so i took it away from him (just an exscuse to touch his hand) and i felt his hands touch my knees and i was in heaven i was so happy and he finally asked me if he could hold my hand and i let him. Well soon after it was time to leave because my curfew would be like right after we got back into town we talked that whole way home and i wasnt going to kiss him (decided this before the date) but he walked me to the door i put my hand on his kneck and i just barely kissed him (wanted him to come back for more) and that was it VERY special. I was also dating several other guys at the time and i knew they were just getting on my nerves so i blew them off for dh (they were all popular and i didnt like the popular girls so it worked out).

dolfinrse replied: Our first official date, dh met me at my job when I was on break and took me for some pizza. The first time that we went out was when we went to see the Circus that comes to town every year.
