But why did they make you wait so long to get him? We took our dog home (my childhood dog, a German Shepherd) at six weeks and often I see people taking dogs home at 8 weeks...why did they make you wait till 10 weeks?

they didn't make us wait. I was out of town in Vegas last week and I didn't want DH to have to be responsible for a puppy and the kids.

so far so good. We've only had one P accident but I think I just misunderstood his language. He's gone both multiple times now, outside.
He really is sweet and very smart. We are smitten!
