Please tell me this did not just happen!

MoonMama wrote: DH and I are sitting in the living room together just now. And we hear CRUNCH from outside! unsure.gif Uh-oh! So I rush out and the neighbors kid (I think he's 19) has totally smashed the back side of my car BIG TIME! growl.gif ohmy.gif Apparently he decided it would be a great idea to pull into our driveway going super fast (we usually have our cars in the garage) to turn around. I am so angry right now, I can tell you just by looking at it NOT drivable. sad.gif growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif
DH is out dealing with everything right now (like he needs this bawling.gif mad.gif). I'm very thankful know one was hurt in anyway, but what was this kid thinking? growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif growl.gif

Jamison'smama replied: Oh no, I am so sorry!

Calimama replied: Ugh! How crappy! I'm sorry, I know this is REALLY crappy timing with everything else going on. hug.gif hug.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Ally that really sucks. I'm sorry to hear... sleep.gif

MoonMama replied: Thanks girls! I'm just so.... soapbox.gif soapbox.gif soapbox.gif soapbox.gif

Cece00 replied: Oh MAN, I would be so angry.

Remember, they should pay for your rental car and a NEW carseat for Braeden. They are liable for those things.

MoonMama replied:
Thanks for the reminder. hug.gif I was just thinking about that. We just bought Braedin's carseat a couple weeks ago too. growl.gif

luvmykids replied: Oh that is really rotten, poor DH having to go out and deal with it and then you having to deal with insurance and all hug.gif

CantWait replied: Sorry to hear that. As if you guys aren't dealing with enough right now. mad.gif hug.gif

MoonMama replied: Thanks.

Well we will know more tomorrow. growl.gif I have so much I need to get done tomorrow too, growl.gif I just don't need this. bawling.gif

lovemy2 replied: ohmy.gif ohmy.gif You poor thing - so sorry hug.gif hug.gif

Danalana replied: That stinks! I'm sorry, Ally hug.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: hug.gif hug.gif OMG that's awful! I hope everything can be worked out! hug.gif hug.gif

grandma replied: Thank God you weren't in the driveway with Braden!

luvbug00 replied: hug.gif I'm sorry!

sparkys2boys replied: Oh that sucks so much with everything else you have going on right now. Least you all were safe though hug.gif

tammyhopkins replied: Boys do not start thinking until about 25 and that is even a littel early. Sorry to hear about your car though

A&A'smommy replied: hug.gif hug.gif I'm SOOO sorry Ally!!!!

MommyToAshley replied: Oh no, sorry!

MoonMama replied: Thanks everyone. DH had been fighting with insurance companies all day (he's just so much better at that stuff then I am). We will know more tomorrow when someone actually comes out and looks at the car. This kids mom has been over and apologized profusely. She is "just sick about what could have happened". dry.gif No kidding lady. But she knew he has been driving like this and hasn't said a thing to him really she said. My parents ALWAYS made sure we knew what kind of responsibility and danger went into driving and that we not only held our own lives in our hands but others too. We knew better then to pull this kind of thing! growl.gif I feel kind of bad but I honestly didn't want to hear it right now. I know this sounds so silly to be so upset over a car but this was the first car I bought, paid off and everything all by myself. sad.gif

holley79 replied: Girl it was something that belonged to you that a stupid irresponsible teenage just about took away from you.

Crystalina replied:
You have every right to be mad. growl.gif

Sorry. I hope it's not totaled. sad.gif hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif

HuskerMom replied: I'd be so mad! I hope you guys are able to take care of everything soon!

Boo&BugsMom replied: Oh Ally, that totally sucks. ohmy.gif How fast was this kid going that he smashed it up that bad??? He had to be really flying. If he was backing up like a "normal" person would have, the car would not be as bad as you make it sound. I hope things can get straightened out soon. I know it sucks. There was a span of about 6 years where I got rearended or hit once every year!!! growl.gif hug.gif

Calimama replied:
Don't feel bad one bit!! hug.gif hug.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Geez he must have been going really fast!!!

Let us know what the insurance co says. I'm glad everyone is okay, but I'm sorry about your car. hug.gif I would be upset, too. I hope the ins co is fair.

MoonMama replied:
We live in the mountains and so really our driveway his a huge area. I'm not sure how fast he was going but pretty fast. He came speeding down the road that leads to our house and the 2 other houses on our road (3 is all one of the houses is his parents). And from what he says he realized he was supposed to pick a friend up from somewhere. But instead of turning around like a normal person he just decided to take a sharp turn into our land/driveway. He said because our cars are always in the garage by that time of night he didn't look so smashed right into my car which was out. sad.gif And didn't slow down at all. dry.gif I'm honestly surprised he wasn't hurt but thankful that he wasn't.
