ammommy wrote: Friends requested that I bring pinwheels tomorrow night for munchies. I assume that they are some kind of rollup dunno.gif . What the heck are they????? Anyone know?

luvbug00 replied: r'nt they the tortillas rolled up with meat and chees inside like sandwiches. happy.gif

gr33n3y3z replied: well we make chicken pin wheels at school but I dont think thats what they want ...... chicken and stuffing mixed together and you roll out dough and put the mixture on the dough and roll it and seal off the ends and then you slice it down and lay it flat and bake it.

Maybe something like cinnamon and sugar pin wheels?

luvbug00 replied: Ohh that sound good!! resipie to share maybe?? wavey.gif

ammommy replied: These women would definately want the meat variety. Thanks. now that I know what to look for, I can search my recipes thumb.gif

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: My mom makes taco pinwheels. It is Taco seasoning and cream cheese. I am not sure of all the ingredients, but there are so many different varities you can make. I bet www.kraftfoods.com would have a good recipe. thumb.gif

Josie83 replied: Good Lord, not a clue! xx

3'smom replied: I buy flour tortillas. I spread cream cheese on them, and put chopped green onions and finely cut dried beef on them. Roll them up and slice them. The dried beef is in a jar. just ask at the grocery store and they should tell you where it's stocked. They are very good.

Jamielou replied: They sell things here called pinwheels that are cinamon bread swirls...thats all i have ever heard of ....

kimberley replied:

paradisemommy replied: i always took cream cheese and mixed in salsa and chopped up ham (lunch meat)and round onion (if you like)..spread it out on a tortilla wrap and roll it up and cut in about 1 cm slices and eat...YUM wink.gif

coasterqueen replied: Gee, if you wouldn't have said you were referring to pinwheels as a food I would have described something much different. emlaugh.gif

SOUTHERN MOMMY replied:
