Pictures of Andrew, as promised - on his bike
~Roo'sMama~ wrote: Dh just put all our video on the computer and hasn't separated them all up yet, so pictures will have to do.
Dh took the training wheels off of Andrew's bike today, so this picture is of the first time he rode his own bike without them. For the last few days (since he learned how) he has been using the pink and purple bike my sister bought at a garage sale to have at Grandma's house for an extra.

Forgetting that he has to use the brakes instead of stopping with his feet
got it right this time... you can't tell in the pic that he's stopping but he is.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Ooops I meant to put this in the 1-3 Forum.

my2monkeyboys replied: That's awesome!!! Will is 6 1/2 and he just learned to ride without training wheels.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I don't know when he got so big... but he is just so big and so old all of a sudden! He'll be 4 in two weeks. He's always been tall for his age too so that makes him look even older.
He is so proud of himself, it's so cute! Riding his bike has always been one of his favorite things to do, and now he's even more excited about it.
Boo&BugsMom replied: Dang, can you send him over to teach Tanner??? He is almost 7 and this kid refuses to ride his bike. I told him once the weather is officially "summer" his trainers are going in the trash and he wont have a choice.
Way to go Andrew!!!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Well, it worked on his cousin! His cousin (who will be 6 in a month and a half) just learned today. My sis and bil tried to teach him at home but he didn't want to do it, then they came over here and when he saw Andrew riding his he decided he'd better try again.
