Pics from yesterday - From Kristen's B-day

We had a good day. We went to Build-A-Bear in the morning and she got a new bear in Hello Kitty outfit. Then we went clothes shopping in the afternoon. She got a couple of really cute outfits. I've started (with the older kids) just giving them $100 to spend however they want. If they want a party they can have a party and $50 (since they will get gifts from friends) but Kristen opted for the $100 instead. She spent all but $15 which she is putting with money from family members and saving. It was a fun day with her. I love going out just the two of us.

Here are a couple of pics...

She is soooo skinny but eats as much as me. This is her cake which was a wreck.... I've been so busy and out of sorts so I didn't get to make it as nice as I normally would try (it was kind of thrown together last minute). She was soooo sweet about it. She said it didn't matter because they were just going to eat it anyway and it is her favorite flavor so that's all that mattered.
