On our walk to Vail Village - it was 70 degrees and sunny on Saturday! (maybe this was on the way back since I had my coat on).
DH in front of the chairlift right outside our room...Perfect to ski in or ski out!
In the Village - I felt like we were in Europe! 
The last of the aspens before winter....Which came just hours after I took this picture!

That's just the thing I was wanting to do on our 10th anniv. in December. However, Vail is a little far and a little too high in elevation for me.

Hopefully there were just fireplaces there and no dutch ovens   That usually makes for a more romantic time

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Oh Nichole, you crack me up with the line about dutch ovens. You know my DH is dutch...for real. And he is definitely one to throw the stink bomb in bed with us most nights!  Total mood killer. Luckily he passed (no pun intended) on doing it on our trip!
Thanks for the comments guys! We really had an amazing time together - definitely good reconnect time. We both were feeling pretty burnt out between work and taking care of the kids. DH isn't too happy with his job, and I'm tired of my routine, so it was some really good R&R for us both.
