Thanks Brianne. But what is the perk for People magazine? Having it known that their money went to a worthy charity? I just do not get the 'fight' so to speak on being the first to have the rights over a picture. A yr from now, no one will care that they were the first. KWIM?

Of course, for cheap people like me I would scan the internet first, then stop and check out the pics while standing in line to pay for groceries... I would not buy it. LOL

I also read the other day all the money they get for the pics goes to charity. Which is a good thing. And I think its funny they are making them pay that much for pics. It will get back at them for always being in thier face

Brias3 replied: I was under the impression that the picture that appeared in Hello! that I posted (or tried to- sorry if the link didn't work) was sold to that magazine for Britain and then the rights to the same photo were sold to People and somewhere else. Maybe I'm WAY misinformed. I just thought I heard something like that as I was half listening to a CNN entertainment broadcast today.
