PMS

momofone wrote: Does it affect you? I'm a bit crabbier the week before. blush.gif

mom21kid2dogs replied: Since I started taking Evening Primrose oil capsules for excema, I've gone back to charting my periods because I have virtually no pms at all. According to the bottle, it was formulated to relieve pms and it did for me!

msoulz replied: I find the older I get the more I seem to be affected by PMS. I feel very short fused and irritable (is there a difference? blush.gif ) and sometimes just downright angry. It is very frustrating - I don't even like to be in the same room with myself but I can't seem to stop myself either. It's another of life's little challenges. huh.gif

momofone replied:
I have taken that too. Just curious how many capsules do you take?

coasterqueen replied: I take Evening Primrose Oil and Calcium/Magnesium supplements to counteract the horrible PMS I used to have. It's a ton better now.

mom21kid2dogs replied:
500mg softgel tab once a day.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Oh yes. Just got AF and I've been terribly depressed lately...And snappy! It comes on the week before, during, and probably the week after! rolleyes.gif

holley79 replied: Yep just ask the deputies I work with. emlaugh.gif

sparkys2boys replied: ok, tell me more someone on this primrose oil stuff..lol.. guess you can firgure out I have horrible PMS.. if you doubt me .. ask poor DH tongue.gif

A&A'smommy replied: I did sometimes worse than others wink.gif

Anthony275 replied: my girlfriend was a monster- i was afraid of her to be honest with you

coasterqueen replied:
You can google to get more on it, but I just bought the capsule form in the health food store and I refrigerate it for freshness since it is an oil. I love it for my skin, too. My skin has been so smooth using it. I told Dh I plan to put the girls on it when they hit puberty to help out with their skin. thumb.gif

MommyToAshley replied: I am aweful the two days before I start... just ask DH. I know I am being horrible, but just like someone else said, I can't help it. Maybe I will look into this primrose oil too.

Sam & Abby's Mom replied: You know,,, I never had really bad PMS until I had kids. unsure.gif

Now, I get really depressed the week before AF. Maybe I should check into this primrose stuff, too.

jcc64 replied: For real, Karen? For the heavy duty depression- it really works? I was taking chasteberry for awhile, and it did work, but only in a subtle way. Maybe I'll try the primrose.

coasterqueen replied:
Well I'm still taking anti-depressants, so I can't say for sure on heavy duty depression. I'm taking the anti-d's for migraine control, though. But I can tell you for sure that the EPO in conjunction with the Cal/Mag supplements made things a lot better. I still had to go on birth control for severe cramping and flow probs, though. I'm a female mess. tongue.gif

momtoMegan&Alyxandria replied: I am horrible as well. DH always knows when the time is coming because a week before I am so short fused he has threaten to move out and I would have let him. EVERYTHING makes me mad. Even the stupidest little stuff that at any other time I would have laughed about. But during that week it could be your death wish. And like many of you have said, I have noticed it got much worse after children. I may have to try the primrose too. Dh would probably appreciate it.

moped replied: Who me? PMS???? Noooooooo never!!! laugh.gif
