Our date last night

Maddie&EthansMom wrote: was so awesome. We went to see Bridget Jones and we both LOVED it! It was a great start to the evening. We also went to dinner at Johnny Carino's. We talked a lot, touched, laughed, flirted and really had a great time. We spent a lot of time in the restaurant. I think it was just what we needed. We tried not to talk about the kids. We talked a lot about 'us' and about our Christmas plans. Never a dull moment. Which is what I was hoping for.

The kids were so happy to see us. Maddie baked cookies and did some really neat crafts with Patty. They had a blast!! She loves spending time at Patty's house. Ethan was so happy to see mommy. When I picked him up he grabbed my face and kissed me all over. OMG it was the most precious thing I've ever seen. He wouldn't take his eyes off of me, either. He just melts my heart. Maddie of course was hollering for her daddy and couldn't wait to show him all of the stuff she made.

Aren't those times spent alone with hubby just great!!!! When Hubby and I don't feel like going out,we ask my mum to babysit Bri for us and we stay at home and have a picnic on out bedroom floor with canled and everything.....I just love special moments like these.

Let's hope the cupid's arrow stays up your hubby' butt...LOL

I think I would have a hard time not talking about the kids even if I tried, The subject always seems to come up when we are some place without Ashley.

AshleyRose replied: Aww that sounds absolutely delightful. The perfect date! I will have to remember that for when Paris is born.. especially the don't talk about the kids part while you are out. We won't have many oppurtunities away from her and I don't think we will mind much at all but its important to have that time alone and remember that you are not only parents but husband and wife as well.
