Ooh sex poll!

Schnoogly wrote: I hope I'm not the only one with absolutely no desire--I had a 3rd degree episotomy which took 8 weeks to heal plus Iain's hospitalizations--not very romantic--and now zoloft is making it worse, plus he won't be alone for more than 3 minutes ever! Sigh.

5littleladies replied: It took me awhile after Brianna. I had a lovely tear (Brianna's shoulders got stuck-Doc had to pull her out. Ouch!) which took awhile to heal. I've just started to really get my desire back and she is nearly 7 months old. Poor DH. tongue.gif

MommyToAshley replied: I hear your pain....I had a bad tear here too. But, it didn't bother me because the Doc said it was because I had a big baby for such a small butt -- After 9 months of being PG, I was just ecstatic to hear someone say I had a small butt. LOL rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

MomToMany replied: dry.gif , I really can't remember! I think it might have been around 2 or 3 months. I can count on one hand how many times it's been since Hannah was born! My delivery was fine, no tears or episiotomy, but I think it's the breastfeeding hormones, actually. I've had absolutely no desire to, but then again, neither has DH. I think once I get caught up on all the sleep I've lost, then maybe things will get interesting rolling_smile.gif laugh.gif ; like that will ever happen!!!

razz05 replied: Well... let's see. With Laiken (she'll be 3 in June), it took about 4 months (I know I'm bad). I didn't have any LARGE tears, just a small one (but it took a LONG time for it to heal on it's own). With Sawyer (he's 2 1/2 months and in bed w/ us still LOL), we still haven't. ALTHOUGH... I've already had the urge to (most of the time when we're in bed, but I'm just too darn tired to do anything about it). I'm not a big sex person to begin with so this urge is more then it's been in a long time LOL.

Heather replied: Alison was a little over 5 months when I finally decided to try having sex again. It hurt very much. I had a really bad tear as well. It still hurts now and then, 9.5 months later.

jdkjd replied: The day that the doctor said it was okay at my 6 week checkup. I had actually been getting pretty randy, but as soon as I went back on the pill-the libido tanked. I'll have to tell my DH how lucky he is...he thought he was deprived with the once a week (or more like 4 times a month). blush.gif

I was lucky with only a small episiotomy and no tears though. I really feel for the ladies with the tears. Is there an "ouch" emoticon?

I just noticed that too.

jcc64 replied: How do these old threads get resurrected, anyway?

grapfruit replied:
I think people just go back and back and back and find something interesting and "bump" it to the top. dunno.gif

A&A'smommy replied: its a poll so a newbie probably brought it back up by voting tongue.gif
