On/ off switch

TeagansMom609 replied: Same here! I tuck a washcloth onto my bra when im nursing because he always pulls off and I spray everywhere! Poor child needs daily baths because I get milk in his hair all the time.

kit_kats_mom replied: I kept a cloth diaper handy when I was nursing. Once the flow regulates, it won't be so bad.

Annika has been getting daily baths also. I have two cloth diapers handy. One covering the boppy because she drools milk sometimes and the other to try and keep her as clean as possible.

coasterqueen replied: OMG! I STILL have that problem with Megan. I think it's because she only nurses for survival and my breasts just don't understand that they can make less milk and get away with it. I'm always like "um, Megan dear, um, could you turn around, stop looking at your sister, and drink this milk that's going EVERYWHERE".

kimberley replied: that would be nice! Kaleigh needs one of those umbrella hats when we nurse thru the night from the same thing i just use receiving blankets... the bigger, the better

~Roo'sMama~ replied: I use to have to tuck a burp cloth or receiving blanket under my bb too or else my bra and shirt would get soaked. Andrew's clothes usually got pretty wet, too. I was so glad when my supply regulated itself and I didn't have so much extra ~ it still happens sometimes though if Andrew has been eating more or less than normal.

I was talking with a girlfriend a couple weeks ago and she mentioned something about how her milk "sprayed" occationally. I didn't know what she was talking about. Mine just drips all over the place. Until about a week ago.....now, I'm noticing when Kamryn will pop off there's that lovely spray going all over her face. OOPS!

Karen, what about the shower?! i don't know about you guys but the warm water is like the "on" switch for me mine both go off at the same time and i feel like one of those ugly fat lady statue fountains in the park sputtering out milk all over the place dh nearly peed himself the first time he saw it happen.

Mine is the cold isle in the store. Even the pad in my bra was no help there. I was soaked and had to leave the store. It was horrible. The hot shower doesn't help maters either. Nothing like white washing the tiles. LOL
