DH, the boys & I had a big discussion over it and I got out voted. I say out voted ...but only b/c I allowed it!! HAA I'm so the bosss!!!

Anyhow, Rick and Tanner both wanted the baby's name to be Alexandra Grace. I was on the fence b/c I do love both names. Braedon was ADAMENT that his sisters name was Bella Soleil and has been calling her that since the day I found out I was pregnant b/c I said that's the name if it's a girl and he just knew it was a girl this whole time! He was my main reason for not wanting to change it b/c he's so set on it and would get upset if anyone ever called her anything else!

So I said, well..if we can convince Braedon to name her Alexandra instead of Bella, then I would agree and only if they agreed that her middle name would be Soleil instead of Grace b/c I love the name Soleil, it's different and plus Grace IS SO over used these days. So...we managed to convince Braedon after about 1 hour of trying out her possible nicknames on him. He refused Alexandra in any way shape or form, but the trick that did it was saying, "Braedon you can call her baby Ali" and he said, "well, can I call her Ali Soleil?" and I said..."Sure!" and he said, "Okay then...my sister's name is Baby Ali Soleil" LOL


So, our daughter's name is Alexandra Soleil! Honestly, I am happy with it, it definitely gives her more options on the first name than Bella did and it is a classic & beautiful name with a trendy/funky middle name!

and it will not change again...

Now I just have to go through my computer and rename all of the ultrasound pics to alexandra b/f she's old enough to read!!!!!!!
