Okay, now I need to brag...
Maddie&EthansMom wrote: Aside from her sleeping issues, we have a brilliant, funny, beautiful little girl. She truly is so smart and has such a great personality. I'm so proud of her. She is a quick learner and she does so well at school. Her teachers just love her. She has so much spunk and a quick wit about her. On top of all of that she is loving, affectionate and she has such GREAT manners. She is a perfect package all in one. Her best friend is her baby brother. In his 9 mos of life she has never been mean or hasty or jealous towards him. She is always considerate and loving. She loves to be with him and he loves to be with her. They laugh and have their own special little conversations. She is very thoughtful. She always tells me or anyone else "Thank You for (whatever it is we have done)" and she doesn't have to be prompted. When I talk to her she says "Yes Ma'am" and when I ask her to do something she responds with "Yes mother." When my grandmother was leaving my parent's house on Thanksgiving she said "Well, grandmother aren't you going to give me a hug goodbye?" She always says she misses you when you are away and she loves to give hugs and sugars. When I got my hair done yesterday she said "Mommy your hair looks pretty." She loves her family very much and she has a heart of gold. I've never seen anything like it in such a small little girl (or even in most adults I know). I love her so much.
I rarely talk about Maddie and I just wanted to share my beautiful girl with you all. Besides, I am feeling bad about my previous post. She isn't always difficult, just at bedtime.
DansMom replied: Aww, Aimee---she sounds like a dream come true! Don't feel guilty about venting. We all get frustrated with discipline issues. Maddy sounds like she's unusually loving and kind-hearted and considerate most of the time
5littleladies replied: You have a very sweet girl Aimee! Don't feel bad about having to let off some steam. No matter how wonderful our children are we all get frustrated with them at times. We all know how much you adore your children. Maddie is very precious! Thank you for sharing her with us.
A&A'smommy replied: We know this about Maddie but I can see where she gets her personalitly from, she is a beautiful little girl and of course she is going to love her baby brother who wouldn't. You are a VERY blessed woman to have such wonderful children! I hope that my little girl will grow up and be just THAT sweet! (((HUGS))) And I have to say don't feel bad about venting we all get frustrated with our kids (if we didn't we wouldn't love them enough ).
MomToMany replied: Maddie is truly blessed to have such wonderful parents, and an adoring baby brother. And you guys are blessed to have such a wonderful little girl. You don't see many like her anymore!
AshleyRose replied: awww she must be such a joy. You are right about not finding that in many adults nevermind little girls. Your a great mom for recognizing that and voicing it because that is important. Your a great mom and it really shows through your children!
ctymom replied: Awww..... she sounds so sweet It shows what great and loving parents she has.
thanks for sharing

loveydad replied: Aww what a little angel! I love it when they're all polite!
ediep replied: wow, that MAddie is an Angel!! and definately don't feel bad about venting about her sleeping....I know how frustratng it can be to be soooo tired. She is so sweet because you adn your Dh are wonderful parents!
MommyToAshley replied: Whenever you've talked about Maddie, I always think to myself that she has to be the sweetest girl around. What a precious little sweetheart you have there, and I am sure she knows how proud you are of her.
Don't feel bad about venting. I know EXACTLY how you feel. Ashley is an angel most of the time, except when it comes to sleep. I get so frustrated at bedtime, but the rest of the day I am looking at her and saying how lucky I am to have such a sweet little girl. So, don't feel bad at all about sharing your frustrations... we have all been there and felt that way some time or another. We don't think any less of you or Maddie... we're just glad we could be there for you to sound off as you have been for us soooo many times!
Boys r us replied: You brought tears to my eyes Aimee!!!!!
I've always thought that Maddie sounds like quite the little angel and she's so darn cute on top of that, Hmmm yeah..perfect package, I'd say!
Josie83 replied: Okay call me premenstrual but that post made me feel v emotional 9and I am never emotional!). Made me think about Cassie too, and how much I love her. It sounds to me as though you have such a sweet little girl, and like Aimee says that reminds me of you! It sounds to me as though she is so lovely. Post more about her! xx
jcc64 replied: Losing patience with our kids sometimes motivates and energizes us to be better parents, I swear. It sounds like you're doing everything right, Aimee, and she certainly sounds like a daughter any parent would love to have. That didn't happen by accident.
My2Beauties replied: Awww Aimee, Maddie is such an angel and we know she is. Don't feel guilty for venting, I know I vent about Hanna's sleep issues too, it's hard not to do when you're sleep deprived! You have a beautiful, intelligent, polite, little angel and you're a wonderful mommy!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: *sniff* *sniff* Thanks so much for the kind words...all of you! Everyone always says she is a reflection of me, but they usually say it when she is acting up...I never knew I was doing something right and her good qualities are a part of me, too. Thanks for pointing that out. Sometimes I think I'm the worst parent on the planet. Thank you for making me feel so good about myself.
kit_kats_mom replied: Aw como'n Amy, you and DH have to take alot of credit for raising such a great kid. You guys are her models
