Okay.. funny way to wake up.. - But I am a bad mom .. bad bad bad

TANNER'S MOM wrote: Well Tanner lost a tooth yesterday at school. He put it in a box and was so happy to loose it. It's been awhile since he lost one..So of course he put it under his pillow.

Well last night he was a bit naughty. He hasn't been listening for about a week, and I knew he had a spanking coming. I had let him push me for a while and I had told Randy earlier in the week he is going to push me until he gets punished. So, he did.. and I gave him a spanking for smart mouthing me. I told him to do something and he turned and looked at me and said I don't think so.. I looked at him and Said Oh No you didn't..Randy said Oh yes he did.. so he got the spanking he had coming.

Well he went to bed..tooth under the pillow.. and guess what.. Mom and Dad fall asleep and No darn tooth fairy.

I work up this morning..and he had this toy gun..and it makes a really loud noise and he was cocking it and running in my room, looking under my bed. I said it's 6 in the morning what are you doing.. He said HUNTING for the tooth fairy..she skipped me. I thought OH CRAP.. Oh CRAP.. He said why didn't she come MOM..
I said let me get awake and you go look again..

Well he came back in there and I said.. Tanner she didn't come b/c she knew the way you talked to me last night. It hurt her feelings that you were being disrespectful to me. I said you will have to leave it under your pillow and when she thinks you are good then you will get your reward. He said it's not fair.. I said I am sorry.

So, I am going to type a letter today and leave it under his pillow and tell him to be more respectful and that next time he wont have to wait..lol

Dear Tanner,

I wanted you to know that I did not forget you last night. I know that you lost your tooth and put it under your pillow. I also noticed that this week your parents had to talk to you a lot and ask you over and over to complete a task. On more than one occasions you talked back to your Mom and Dad. I wanted to wait a bit before I left the reward for you sweet tooth because I wanted you to think about how you treat people who love you the most in the world. Your parents are very proud of you and they try to raise you to be a smart and respectful young man. I know that’s what you will be too. I just want you to think about your actions and how they affect the people around you. You know your Mom and Dad work very hard and they love you a lot. They need all the help they can get. When they ask you to help them or to contribute then please do so willingly and with love. I think it’s also time for my friend Santa to be visiting with you soon.

I decided not to make you wait long for you reward because I know that even though this week you got a bit off track you are a good boy. You Mom and Dad realize how special you are. How hard you work at school and how sweet you are to your friends and family. We decided to was time to reward you and tell you to keep up the good work. But remember it’s easier to be nice and helpful then to be in trouble and it makes you feel a lot better about yourself.

Thank you Tanner for being a good boy and keep up the hard work.

I know when Mom has to tell you to brush your teeth more than once and it does reduce the value of the tooth. I like the nice shiny ones.
I printed it with a pictures of teeth all over it and a clip art tooth fairy..lol
