Okay, for those whose kids won't use silverware
MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: Logan won't eat without it. At least not today. He is currently trying to eat popcorn with a fork. What a mess. I'm going to have to vacuum again.
kimberley replied: oh the woes of picky kids. lol
booey2 replied: Gotta luv em, try switching out the fork for a spoon, I have been known to eat popcorn with a spoon, especially after adding kernels seasonings so I don't get it all over my hands.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I tried that, he's addicted to forks lately.
My2Beauties replied: Oh I only wish Hanna had that issue girl....it never fails she'll put her fork or spoon straight down (nomatter what we're eating) and dig in with her hands, chili and spaghetti are her all time favorites to do this with
mom2my2cuties replied: Andrea has been like that lately. She was eating peanuts with a spoon earlier. I ended up having to vaccum the living room again
Jamison'smama replied: Jamison has these big chop sticks we got at the zoo--of course they are connected at the top so they are just big pinchers--she LOVES to eat snack with those and it is much less messy.
I also give her toothpicks on occasion to eat snacks like cheese and rolled up deli meat.
coasterqueen replied: Megan is like that. She wants to eat everything with a fork! Sometimes she takes a spoon, but most times she wants to stick with the fork.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: At least I'm not the only one. Thanks guys.
Boo&BugsMom replied: That's ok, my hubby eats nachos and cheetoes with a fork so he doesn't get his hands filthy!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: That's Ethan. He is the messiest child. Just this morning my friend was trying to get him to use a fork when we went out to eat and he just couldnt' get it. He is so orally fixated it's insane!! He constantly has his hands in his mouth (or anything else he can get in there.) So I know it will be awhile before he uses his fork...which drives my friend crazy. She thinks I can break him of it. Not until he gets over his fixation. The strange thing is, he likes having the fork there and he does use it, but he picks things up with it and takes it OFF the fork with his fingers and puts the food in his mouth.
My DH eats EVERYTHING with a fork, too. He won't touch his food with his fingers. I remember making a huge deal of this on our first date.
