Crystalina replied: I call them carts. Mostly 'd*mn carts' to be exact, they never go straight.
ilovemybaby replied: We call it a Trolley
mckayleesmom replied: thats a train.....
ilovemybaby replied: Not in my neck of the woods
Guess what we call the toilet? A "loo" And Australians call it a "dunny"
CantWait replied: Shopping cart, but a stroller, no matter what kind it is, is a stroller.
TANNER'S MOM replied: I say cart, or shopping cart. Buggy is a stroller but an old style one. Or it's like a wagon thing we see around here. We call the covered wagons the Doctor's buggy's.
At the store the other day I heard a man say Trolley when talking about the cart. Randy looked at me said we don't have no trolley's around here...he must be from San Fran.. No how smart did he sound!
luvbug00 replied: we call the bathroom the loo too! lol! bugy are the old fashoioned stroller things and strollers are strollers.
uhh my mom is snorring! sorry sidetracked....
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I call it a cart, my nana calls it a basket
3xsthefun replied: I call a shopping cart a buggy. I have always heard them called that around here.
I don't think I heard them called a shopping cart until I met my husband's parents.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Hee!
In a grocery store, we call it basket... in a mall, we call it a stroller... lol
A buggy, to me, is those old fashioned strollers. The big heavy ones shaped like a bassinet. I have one. We call the old-fashioned "horse and buggy" a carriage.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I've never heard it called anything but a shopping cart. Baskets are the little things with handles that you can grab instead of a cart if you aren't going to get much, and Buggies are old fashioned baby strollers!
mckayleesmom replied: EXACTLY......lol
holley79 replied: Well I always call it a buggy too... Maybe it's a southern thing.
A&A'smommy replied: I call them shopping carts AND buggys but usually I call them buggys
ilovemybaby replied: Wow I thought that Australians and NZers (and Englanders) were probably the only ones that use the word Trolley. So they call them Trolleys in San Francisco?
Edward's Mommy replied: I can't vote because I call it a wagon.
jcc64 replied: Shopping cart here in NY.
coasterqueen replied: shopping cart or sometimes I call it a basket.
CosmetologyMommy replied: I always say cart!
mckayleesmom replied: Yep...Trolleys are little trains that people can use instead of buses.
JP&KJMOM replied: I could not vote either cause we call them baskets.
BAC'sMom replied: I call them baskets too. A buggy in what you pull behind a horse down here.
Kated replied: I voted we call it shopping cart
3_call_me_mama replied: I call them shopping carts. DH calls them baskets and MIL calls tehm Carriages. Buggys are old fashion baby strollers to me. A stroller that lays down might be called a Carriage by me sometimes but usually a stroller is a stroller a cart is a cart
gr33n3y3z replied: here we call them shopping carts bc if I told the kids to grab a basket they would grab a basket for just a few items our stores have those also
JAYMESMOM replied: I call them a buggy or basket or cart. I guess it depends where my mind is. The kids call it a cart though. I guess it depends where you are from. That is what the funny thing is.
I consider a stroller a stroller no matter what kind they are . I have never used the word carriage or pram.
Now for a trolley -- that is a trolley car like you know a trolley.
And her it is a bathroom or the kids call it a potty referring to the restroom.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: It's always been a cart or shopping cart to me. Sometimes I say basket. That's what Jade calls them.
MM'sMama replied: I say cart too.
