Ok, what to you all think of?
3xsthefun wrote: No, I don't wanna know what ya think about snowballs.
Anyways, I was thinking. If the baby is a girl, we are going have a hard time finding another name we both like. We went through this with Maegan. If we have a boy, I already have a name I already really like. Hopefully Rob will like it also.
So I thought I better start searching for names now. I found one name so far that might be a possibitly.
What do you all think about the name Adrianne?
Only, thing I'm not to sure of a good middle name would go with this name.
Oh, I like Hailee also, but I really don't think Rob will like it. He has little bit different taste in names then I do.
Calimama replied: Pretty! I prefer Hailee though. You have good taste in names.
mom21kid2dogs replied: O's best buddy is Adrienne Nicole. I have to admit, not my fav name but it has grown on me.
DansMom replied: I like both Adrianne and Hailee a lot. I know two women named Adriana---that variant is a Spanish name. Anyway, both of those names are gorgeous.
Maybe you could use a virtue-name for a middle name---"Joy" would go well with Adrianne or Hailee, for example.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Adrienne Leigh Adrienne Hope Adrienne Grace
Hailee Nicole Hailee Paige
C&K*s Mommie replied: I like those that Kelly suggested.
But between the two I like Hailee the best. They are two pretty names though!
cameragirl21 replied: I kind of figured you'd choose another Irish name to go with Kaitlynn and Maegan, like Kelly or Erin or Shannon. I love the name Hailey and Adrienne is nice too but living down here and being surrounded by the Spanish language, I have come to prefer Adriana, the Spanish version.
3xsthefun replied: Thanks Kelly for the suggestions, I like them.
Jennifer- I'm not sure if Kaitlynn and Maegan are Irish names, I looked them on some baby name sites, they say that Maegan is a Greek name and Kaitlynn is a Gaelic name. I'm not saying you are wrong but I looked at 3 different sites.
Anyways, I will let things settle down in the house some tonight and see what Rob thinks about these names.
I also kinda like Kayleigh, but not sure I want go with another K name.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Glad to help. And names that are considered Irish are often of Gaelic origin.
3xsthefun replied: LOL! Ok, well I didn't know that. I don't really know anything about origins. Usually, I just go with a name I like, and see what it means that is about it. I hardly pay attention to what origin a name belongs to.
So now everyone knows how dumb I am. I'm going go hide now.
kimberley replied: i love the name Hailey!
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Are not. I didn't even pay attention to what the meaning of Logan was. It was just Aaron's grandpa's middle name. It actually means...
From the Hollow.
Whatever that is. It's also Gaelic.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Gaelic and Irish are pretty much the same thing.
My grandmother is Irish. Her name is Anita.
I like Adrianne. My dh's niece is called Arianne.
I used to have a friend called Orianna. Oh, and Ornella as well...she was Italian.
eta - origins of Kaitlynn... irish... thought so, I think one of my great-aunts' name was Kaitlynn. http://babyparenting.about.com/cs/gettingready/a/kaitlyn.htm
3xsthefun replied: Ok..see I stand corrected. Sorry Jennifer, I had no clue as to what I was talking about.
Kelly- thankyou, but I still feel quite dumb.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Tina you most certainly aren't dumb! I also just choose what names I like and go with it, without paying too much attention to meaning or origin.
I love both names, btw. I think Adrienne is a beautiful name and you don't see it often (around here at least). It would compliment the other girl's names well. Hailee has always been another of my favorites.
Really you can't go wrong with either one. I'm curious to hear what Rob thinks of them. Do you mind me asking what boy name you have chosen?
Our Lil' Family replied: I like Adrienne. Did you realize that all the girls name would end with an "enne" sound? It wouldn't bother me, I'd actually find it cute, but some people don't like that sort of thing.
Nina J replied: I think they're both lovely names
A&A'smommy replied: awwww I LOVE the name Adrianne!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: oh tina you're not dumb! I'm sorry that made you feel that way...
