There was this Girl no lie she had to be 6 maybe even 7 years old with a Binkie or sucker what ever you call those things. I was floored I so wanted to get up and toss it in the trash Ed kept telling me to shut up
Then we were blessed with a girl chewing her food with her mouth open and pasta falling out as she is talking she had to be 16 once again Ed told me to shut my mouth. I was going to ask her if she wanted a back hoe.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I wish you had asked if she wanted a backhoe. To her parents. Some parents don't teach manners today.
gr33n3y3z replied: If I did Ed would have disowned me lol It was so hard for me to keep my trap shut
Brias3 replied: Hearing things like that really make it clear that I just don't know WHAT some parents are up to nowadays except, clearly, a whole bunch of nothing in the case of the two girls you saw!
My3LilMonkeys replied: I am also not a fan of the pacifier/binky at that age. DH always says something, just loud enough that they can hear.
kimberley replied: that is a bit old for a soother. and LOL @ the backhoe! i wish you said it and i was there to witness hahaha. doesn't anyone have any freakin manners anymore?
luvmykids replied: Ew thats unbelievable! Just makes me more determined to drill in the manners, I don't ever want my kids to give anyone reason to comment other than to say what good manners they have!
1lilpeanut2love replied: How crazy is all of that!! I would have taken alot for me to keep my mouth shut too!!! LOL.
ashtonsmama replied: Good times at dinner!
C&K*s Mommie replied: I would have loved to see the parents reaction to your comments if you were given the chance to say it. Since they obviously were blatantly unaware of the disgusting habit of that child in front (or beside) them. I wonder if they would have been up in arms about you commenting. Like Monica said, I want people to say how well our girls are behaved, not commenting on the poor manners.
Binkies...at six or seven??!! We got Kel off of those right here before she turned 2. All I could remember was seeing a little boy (maybe a tall/big 4yr old or a 5 yo) with a sippy cup and a pacifier, in the mall when the girls were younger. From that day forward I knew I would want to get Kel off of a pacifier before she turned 2.
ilovemybaby replied: I cannot understand why anyone would let their child have a binkie/pacifier at 6 or 7 years of age. I know some kids have a real hard time giving up the pacifier but it is easy enough to put them up high in a cupboard or throw them out. Abby gave hers up at about 10 months. She won't even take one now. She prefers her thumb
