Ok funny Ansley story…

BAC'sMom wrote: When it comes to cleaning her room my daughter has a BAD habit of throwing stuff in her closet, under her bed etc. She has that out of sight out of mind attitude.

Well this weekend I found her room in a mess yet again! But the DH intervened and said he would talk with her and help clean up the room. So he went to battle with trashcan in hand. After about an hour and ½ I went to check on the cleaning process. I found my DH standing there shaking his head…I asked him “Hey Daddy do you feel my pains now?” He said “This is ridiculous how in the world does she get her room like this?” Ansley pipes up and says “well it’s not ALL my fault.” Then DH says “well your Mother and I didn’t make this mess”. Ansley says well “Can’t you just fire me!” I guess she was tired of cleaning and needed an out.

After I left her room I LMAO. And just think she is ONLY 6!

C&K*s Mommie replied: awww..... wub.gif what goes through kids minds, and comes out of their mouths is hilarious at times. biggrin.gif

TheOaf66 replied: Yes Tanner likes to put things in his closet and shut the door or if we tell him to put something away, he puts it into his room and shuts the door thinking magically we won't realize what he has done...I try to remember what it is like to have that logic again laugh.gif laugh.gif

Very creative on her part though...asking to get fired.

mckayleesmom replied: LOL...My problem is the opposite...Mckaylee likes to take everything out of her closet.

luvmykids replied: rolling_smile.gif Kylie does the same thing, I thought we'd curbed it but last week as I was marveling at how clean her room was, I noticed a shoe peeking out from under the bed. Upon closer examination, it was far from alone mad.gif

Why can't they fire us? emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif

Tell her after you get fired it's hard to get a good reference emlaugh.gif

JP&KJMOM replied: emlaugh.gif She is too funny and Richard helping her clean ohmy.gif ok really that is more one of these emlaugh.gif !

BAC'sMom replied: Yes he helped her clean…. and man you should have seen her face when he brought in HUGE black trashcan from outside. It was that deer in the headlights look. blink.gif
Let me tell you what else she “tried” to do; she has 2 bookshelves (floor to ceiling kind) in her room. You know for books, toys etc. well she had shoved CRAP on the shelves then tried to camouflage it with stuffed animals.

You know presentation is everything! The little TOOT!

JP&KJMOM replied: I think she should still to young to know that concept. ohmy.gif Are you sure she does not belong to me? laugh.gif

BAC'sMom replied:

She knew enough to put the stuffed animals in front of the crap on the shelves. smile.gif And at a distance it didn't look bad.

I don't know Karen she could be your who knows. tongue.gif

holley79 replied: THAT is the greatest. I love it. Did she get fired? rolling_smile.gif

BAC'sMom replied: NO NOT YET!

This little girl in a hoot...I guess I am going to have to start telling Ansley's stories like Brianne does about Mckaylee.

luvmykids replied: But look at that sweeeeeet face! wub.gif

BAC'sMom replied: Yes she's sweet....but I have to smooth her horns down every morning when I am fixing her hair. rolling_smile.gif

luvmykids replied:
rolling_smile.gif How do you get them to stay down?

BAC'sMom replied: A combination of hairspray and superglue wink.gif

JP&KJMOM replied:
That's not quiet stong enough for Karlee's cause hers pop up about 3:30 every day! laugh.gif

kimberley replied: laugh.gif too funny. my kids are the same way. rolleyes.gif
