Ok, another cute story about my booga

I used to sing all the time to Kylie but I guess for some reason I stopped. Well with her teething with 2 year molars I was at my wits end the other night and sang Twinkle twinkle to her like I used to. I finished the song and layed next to her and she looked at me and said "mom?" You know with that question voice. I said "yes, Kylie" and she said with a huge grin on her face, "SING" and wiggled her butt. So I chuckled and sang. Every time I finished the song she would do that again.

I think she does this to prolong having to go to sleep. The little sneaky booga!

I chuckled the other day.... Ashley was laying in her bed (naptime) and she was singing "if you are happy and you know it" She had the melody down, but the only thing I could understand over the monitor was the word "Happy" and then heard her clapping.

Sophia tells me which songs she wants to hear. She'll either say "cow" or "choo choo" (don't ask ) and I know I need to sing Old MacDonald. If she says "uppa" it's twinkle twinkle (like Up above... she thinks that's the name of the song )

booey2 replied: How sweet, my boys used to do this now when I sing they say "Mooooom, please stop." and have that weird look on their faces. They change and grow up way to fast cherish her now.

OMG Dee that is so cute!!!! Ashley is one smart girl! That would have been so great to hear. Sometimes I wish I had a tape recorder, a camera and a camcorder in every room! LOL.

Aww. That's so sweet she tells you which one she wants to hear. I'm a boring mom, I see twinkle twinkle and You are my sunshine. I tried to sing In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel and Kylie starts getting upset. Apparently she just wants to hear Twinkle twinkle. LOL.

OMG Terri that is so funny! Ok, well it probably isn't in a way, but it is.

I was thinking that the other night when she kept asking me to sing that one day she will BEG me not to sing. I know DH is begging me not to when he hears me singing over the baby monitor.
