Ok, Cary, I saw this picture and got all wistful. That was Steve's 2nd car in high school (1st was a pea green 74 Pinto- the ones that exploded). The Cordoba had mint green Corinthian leather seats and an 8 track player for which we had only one tape- Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Vol. 2. Ahhhhhhhh, the things that went on in that car......

Sorry to digress, but I just couldn't help myself.

Oh it wasnt at your expense. I have driven cars way worse. And I completely agree w/ the drive it until it dies..no payment plan...My other vehicle is bad. I will try to take pics and show the truck! It is disgusting inside and out!

Mommy2BAK replied: Seriously Jen, that is not bad at all!!! I am sure that there are people on this board who don't even have a car. And honestly, my husbands car isn't working right now so pretty much we are having to share a car. I have to drive an hour un the morining to take him to work and get back home (with a baby, nonetheless) and then another hour to get him, oh and my school is in the same town so the 3 nights a week I have school I have to bring John and Blakely home just to turn right around and drive back.

So I envy you for having your own car!!!
