Oh, yipee!! - I'm leaking

MommyToAshley replied: I never did leak until after she was born...odd, huh? Maybe you are leaking earlier because this is your second child... I don't know if that makes a difference or not. A good bra would definitely help though!

amynicole21 replied: As if being pregnant weren't enough, right!? I never did leak before Sophia was born, but I certainly did afterwards!! I really liked the Johnson and Johnson nursing pads the best. Some of the other ones were so bulky or itchy. I hope this doesn't continue for the next 18 weeks

mckayleesmom replied: I leaked really early....I was wearing a silk nightgown talking on the computer and I kept feeling like I had spilled something on myself and it felt really cold cause of the silk,,,well it kept happening for like 3 days and it finally dawned on me that I was lactating...duh,,,,,I still leak really bad wearing silk. something about the material.....Otherwise i don't leak unless feeding Mckaylee.

supermom replied: Just like each PG and each baby, everyone is different - guess oddball would be one way to put it! I wouldn't worry too much, and hopefully it won't happen often!

I never leaked either, not until after she was born. But, every preg. is different!

Maybe it will stop soon.

catou_98 replied: When I was pregnant with camille I started having colostrum at 17 weeks, I could sqeeze it out and by 20 weeks I was starting to leak especially at night while sleeping....I don't know if it means anything but I know that I had ALOT of milk after camille was born, My first milk letdown happened the day after she was born, I was eating luch and all of a sudden I was WET (literally) felt like I spilled a WHOLE glass of milk on my shirt! , anyhoo I had what I think they call an "oversupply" of milk! anyhoo just wanted to add my

dolfinrse replied: I started leaking at about 20 weeks. And it didn't stop at all until about 6 weeks after he was born. I used the Medela Nursing Pads. They had adhesive on the back that stuck to your bra so they wouldn't move. I never had a problem with soaking through or the pad moving.

MomToMany replied: I was leaking with ALL of my PG's! I don't think it was quite that early, though. But every PG is different, and every baby is different, so just go with the flow ( , sorry couldn't resist that one!). I hope it doesn't get much worse for you!

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I leaked SOOOO much when I was pg with Zach, starting at aorund 22 weeks as well! By the time I was 30 weeks, I would go through so many nursing pads that I had to carry a bag in my purse for the sole purpose of being able to bring home the wet ones to wash. I got tired of that, so I just ended up buyng sanitary naps..... I cut them in half, and they worked BETTER. and I could just throw them out... heh heh.

I'm not leaking alot just a drop anyways I hope it don't get worse. I'm not sore anymore either like I was.
