Oh, no they didn't - Yes they did

MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: Will someone please tell me who decided to make a movie of those doggone Tartz (I mean Bratz) dolls.
I can't believe it. Someone must be desperate for ideas. Of course, it'll probably be the surprise hit of the summer.

Mommy2Isabella replied: HAHAHAH ... I saw the preview the other day. I think they are a little scary looking myself ... whatever happend to Barbie and Ken?

Anthony275 replied: ken & barbie broke up in like, 2003 actually

MyBrownEyedBoy replied:
What, that's not possible! LOL, just kidding. I was never too into Barbie either.

msoulz replied: LOL, my son was invited to a girl's birthday party when he was in kindergarten and her mom said she likes Bratz dolls, so I send hg to get one, but then I had to call everyone I know who has a girl to see if he just happened to pick up Streetwalker Bratz or if they are all like that!! Yeah, OK, Barbie is out of proportion but at least she didn't look like a lady of the night!! blink.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: LOL!!! Bratz look so ... umm ... big headed ... and a little to grown for young girls! IMHO!

Calimama replied:
I agree. They look like trashy little.. ya know. wink.gif

Anthony275 replied: $10 says this movie influences 9 year olds into hip hop music and all that stuff...

stella6979 replied: I absolutely hate Bratz dolls. They all look like hookers and that's not the way I want my daughter to perceive women. I've already informed our entire family that we do not allow those trashy things in our house.

gr33n3y3z replied: yep pross a tots new_tomato.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I call them Prosti-Tots.

I live in a suburb of Ottawa called Orleans... so we say the Prosti-Tots from Whore-Leans are out.

holley79 replied: A neighbor brought over the Bratz dolls and gave them to Annika. They are in the Goodwill bag. I'm sorry but Annika doesn't need Bratz dolls.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Yeah, and guess who designed the costumes for the movie??? Paula Abdul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! laugh.gif emlaugh.gif laugh.gif emlaugh.gif I know its mean to laugh, but I watched her "reality" show the other night...What happened to that poor talented woman? wacko.gif

Calimama replied:
Not all hip-hop music is bad. wink.gif

punkeemunkee'smom replied: I triedto reverse my original judgement on them when all my friends were allowing their girls to play with them and Taylor was being left out in major ways when we had playdates. (NO trashy dolls to bring along rolleyes.gif ) When one of the moms in our circle gave me a DVD to watch and see they weren't that bad,my original judgement gelled! OMG! I could not believe some of the things that were said on that movie! The dolls kinda creep me out anyway-they look bobble headed! laugh.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
Seriously. There's no WAY my daughters are going to play with a doll whose biggest feature are their lipsticked puckered lips and dangly earrings, with belly buttons shown off.

NO way.

Anthony275 replied:
it is when the music talks about "the magic stick" when it's in a movie for 9 year olds
