sparkys2boys wrote: Logan was just on the phone with a friend and I was paying no attention to the convo, so he gets off and comes over to me and practically yells...

Well, just great now I am screwed ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif

I looked at him and said LOGAN, don't you ever use words like that again young man. His friend just told him he heard that some other kid is doing the same science fair project as him..lol.. which I don't think is true.

Oh my where does he hear this stuff though, I was shocked huh.gif
And as soon as he said it the look of uh oh crossed his face rolleyes.gif

Crystalina replied: Someone else is doing the same project? ohmy.gif

Yep, he's screwed. rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

Sorry, that isn't funny. I think my jaw would drop if one of my kids said that. Not something you'd expect huh? happy.gif

TheOaf66 replied: I think it would be funny to see a litle kid do that, I can see tanner doin it...I know it would not be funny if it was mine.

sparkys2boys replied:
Thanks for the encouragment..lol! I guess he is 9 and that is probally calm to what some of his friends say.

mckayleesmom replied: Yesterday Mckaylee told Russell he was "full of cr@p"......I looked at her and said "I don't want to hear that out of your mouth again" and she said "ok, hes full of bologna then". rolleyes.gif

sparkys2boys replied:
rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif That's funny!!! I wish that is all Logan had of said... emlaugh.gif

Calimama replied: I bet he heard it at school. There was a little kid at Target last night that looked to be like 3-4. He told his mom, "you're a s*** head." ohmy.gif

sparkys2boys replied:
ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif Omg that would of been one lil kid in a heap of trouble

ZandersMama replied: Zaviers favorite word is s***. They pick up everything blush.gif and it could be alot worse for a 9yr old. My friends son and his friends.....when they think they are alone.....wow. All i can say is it could be alot worse.

A&A'smommy replied:
I would have a hard time not laughing!!!!! ohmy.gif blush.gif

poor kid things that are so small to them seem SO big!!!

Calimama replied:
I did. Especially since he had such a serious face when he said it. rolling_smile.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: while it is funny when caught off guard, I dunno if I would be still laughing (on the inside) once I was sassed.

luvmykids replied: Colt went through a phase where he'd walk around and say "What the?" ohmy.gif He never finished the sentence, but I had to chew him out and tell him people didn't now that he doesn't know the rest of it rolleyes.gif

MoonMama replied:
ohmy.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

Ok this kind of stuff already....I am afraid of the teen years very afraid! unsure.gif

:.Mrs_Mommy.: replied: Aaron has gotten to the point that he says "Cookies" instead of a bad word. They know there are certain words that they will hear that are only for adults to say so he has his own word.

For instance if he stubs his toe he'll say "Oh Cookies that hurt!" biggrin.gif

Teesa®© replied: DS has been running around saying, "Well! I didn't see THAT coming!" over EVERY little thing that happens rolling_smile.gif

He says "crap" a lot, but I don't mind. If you sneak up on him and scare him, he says, "You scared me outta the crap!" We all say it now rolleyes.gif

I was having a bath last week at 2am. I was soaking nicely and JUST sat up to get my shampoo and the door s-l-o-w-l-y opens. In came DS and I durned near had a heart attack! I yelled, "You skeered me outta the crap! Oh, heck, you pretty near skeered me outta my SKIN!" He thought that was just hilarious, but I didn't dry.gif

redchief replied: I remember that "uh-oh" look very well. It's quite difficult not to laugh when you're making a point about how important it is to not curse when you express yourself. All of my kids went through it. Don't worry, it doesn't mean he's turning into a potty-mouth. Just the fact that he broke into the "uh-oh" look tells me he knows that language isn't appropriate. Of course, then there's the playground and soccer and baseball fields. It's even funnier to see the "uh-oh" look on a teenager when they're cussing and don't realize the coach just walked up behind them.

Laps do wonders for a potty-mouth by the way. sleep.gif

moped replied: Hate to say it but that is a normal term in this house tongue.gif

Jack hasn't really picked up on it yet, but he actually doesn't repeat what we say anymore - thank god!!!

I try to tame my mouth - I really do

sparkys2boys replied:
Hmm, laps you say??? I may have to remeber that.. so if you all see my kids outside running around the house, you will know what happended..lol.
