mummy2girls wrote: i was at the swimming pool today at the rec centre by my work. And this little boy who looked like he was around 2 was crying. He would look and say MOMMY! And start to cry. me and this other lady asked if he was lost and all he said was MOMMY! MOMMY! as he was crying:( So we couldn't find the mom anywhere so the other lady went to track down a lifeguard walkign around. about 10 minutes later the dad finally shows up and takes him! K what mom or dad for that fact would just let thier child at age 2 wonder a swimming pool where he could of easily fell into the water! UGH!

DblTblDad replied: Stupidity shouldn't breed
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Agreement. There should be a parenting test you have to pass first.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I may have forgotten a lot of things, like my diaper bag, a bottle, my driver's license, my keys in my car, but NEVER my kiddo.

DansMom replied: When I was a freshman in college walking down the street in Portland, Maine a little boy asked me if I knew where his mommy was. I think he was about 4 years old, and he had gotten out of the car (no car seat) and was just wandering the sidewalk. I waited with him for 10 minutes before his mom came back and yelled at him. I've never forgotten the bad feeling I had the rest of that day. That poor boy at the pool! So inexcusable, rotten parenting.
mom21kid2dogs replied: I was a lifeguard at Cedar Point (Lake Erie) for 3 years and it happened at least 6 times a summer. I seriously can't imagine it, but there are people who consider lifeguards as babysitters.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: That makes me so angry! I used to work downtown Denver where there were always a lot of teenagers hanging around the mall. Some had babies. I remember seeing a young father pushing his baby in a stroller, but he pushed the stroller to the side of the sidewalk and walked away to talk and smoke with his friends. The baby was just lying there alone and had a bottle propped up on it's belly. The poor thing was trying to grab it with his mouth. I was TTC at the time and just wanted to take that baby and run!! I cried when I got back to the office because it's a shame people like that can have children and there I was, a good person, trying hard to make one.
Kaitlin'smom replied: that just breaks my heart why people do this to kids
okay I am crying now, and need to go hug my daughter 4pm can come fast enough
ions_momma replied: Thats so sad!! Some people are just stupid!!
A&A'smommy replied: awwww poor baby!!! Shame on those parents!!
