Oh lord - i think i might be....

someone please let me know what else to look out for and if whats going on could possibly be labor *please god*

due_any_day replied: so far, the most they've lasted is about 80+ seconds and they're about 8 to 10 minutes apart. the stabbing pain shifted to my right hip and inner right thigh. i just tried going to the bathroom because i had to pooh really bad but, and dont be mad for oversharing or grossed out but i'm wondering something, there wasn't much there even though it felt like it should be. is that possibly from pressure?

MommyToAshley replied: Definitely sounds like labor. I remember that feeling, for lack of a better description, the pressure feels like real bad constipation. Have you called your doctor?

due_any_day replied: ok...went to the hospital...i was there hooked up to monitors for three hours.


my contractions were slightly irregular but going from weak to really strong. even that was going back and forth.

when they checked me, guess what? yes i am in labor...early stages...but my cervix didnt change in three hours so i'm back home....

on the plus side DH is on his way to be with me so yahoo...i get to see him and maybe go home this weekend with a maggie jane in my arms.

due_any_day replied: grr...argh. (I watch too much buffy..anyway) still at hime..still getting contractions (YAHOO! THEYRE NOT THOSE FAKE P.O.S. TEASERS!!!) I slept from five to ten and couldnt get back to sleep. The dogs just would not leave me alone. Meanwhile DH remains passed out.

I have a doctors appointment later today at around 2:30. Maybe they can help me out. I sure hope i've dialated and effaced more because this is just another thing to drive me bonkers if i havent. I dot see why they shouldnt though.
I think i shall wake DH up in a bit (because he's been sleeping since three lucky sunofa...... *shakes fist*) and see if we can take a walk around the mall or to the cell phone store to get me a new one. Mine doesnt work!!

Kimberley, i so wanted to call you today and tell you my birthing story so you could tell everyone else!!! I wanna meet my baby!!!

to everyone thanks for the ELV's...i love you all for them.... wish me luck. OH! and sanity too!!! loads of that because i feel twitchy and fidgetty.

My2Beauties replied: ELV~~~ coming you way. They sent me home one day with Hanna too and then the next evening I was in labor, it's coming soon, mine were 10 minutes apart for about half a day or so and then it went from 10-5-3 minutes apart!!!!

booey2 replied: Hang in there. Have you tried lying on your left side. They had be do this in the hospital when I had both boys and they kept telling me to stay on my left side because it helps increase the contraction frequency. Everytime I rolled back to my right it slowed right down. Also try having a shower and even some BD'ing might help move things along. ELV's coming your way.

edited to say: I was also sent home with Thomas and was back in the hospital within an hour and had him 5 hours later.
